Captain Barnacles, Kwazii and Peso were on a mission to the Antarctic to help a group of seals but, on their way back to the octopod,
Barnacles leg gets caught in a trap that had been perfectly hidden under the snow which shouldn’t have been there, leaving the captain unable to finish the mission and return to the Octopod.Before the trio could return back to the safety of the Octopod.
Strange creatures which Kwazii was convinced were aliens, arrive and abduct the captain in his most vulnerable state leaving the cat and penguin to fend for themselves and to retreat back to their base without their leader before they too got caught. It is now up to the crew to find and help free the captain from captivity of these creatures who call themselves ‘humans’, will they succeed?

The course was simple. Swim from the shores of Australia's course to a point in the ocean where the gups were stationed. Find one, get one and get out of there. Head up to the Arctic and race across sea ice before getting back in your gup on the other side and getting down to the shore. But in a violent turn of events, is the course as safe as it seems.
This includes many OCs throughout the stories but they hopefully aren't confusing.

Lloyd's head snapped back to the commotion. The monastery gate was practically in shambles as the black misty tendrils seeped through the cracks and over the wall. He could hear Oni growling and banging on the gate. The rest of the Ninja had their attention facing elsewhere, however. The tips of golden blades pointed at the target of focus. A short, smaller Oni was standing cautiously near the wall, head tilted slightly, leaving its tail limp by its legs. Lloyd recognized this Oni immediately.
