Summary
Throwing away the decepticon badge she prized for so long, Ember wants nothing to do with the war. Not anymore at least.
Aimlessly wandering from one distant corner of the galaxy to the other, she finds the loneliness excruciating. But just before she can regret her decision to leave the decepticons, fate brings her to Earth.
Trapped in a deal with a Prime who probably wants nothing more than her head on a silver platter, Ember has to use her wit and will to face the demons of her past.

Alice is at the top of the world. With a conglomerate reaped from the sickness and misfortune of others, she’s done quite well for herself in the whirlwind of chaos that a fiery afterlife brings her.
Each day is a reminder that she has shed herself of the person she once was. That is until one of her many deals' sour and brings to light a past once shared.

Summary
Acid drips off his umbrella and lands on the ground as he walks.
You always seem to forget your umbrellas. Always. In life and in death, not once have you ever remembered to bring an umbrella. Did you forget your umbrella today as well?
There’s a selfish part of him that hopes you do. Because that would mean you’re still not used to bringing your own umbrella. It means you’re still hoping and trusting that Alastor would be there with a smile and an umbrella in his hand.
There are very few truths that Alastor allows himself to realize when it comes to you. If he digs those emotions out…well, he doesn’t think he would ever want to stop. It would be an insanity caused by you and you alone.
TLDR: Acid rain stings, and destroys everything it touches. Still, Alastor decides that it’s a good day for a walk, because fate made him your husband. So, surely fate would find a way for him to hand you this umbrella, because you always seem to forget to bring one. Alastor will find a way to hand you an umbrella, even with the deal preventing you from seeing him.

You were a college student, barely scraping by. After the car crash that took your left arm years ago, you'd hoped to return to normal life. But your almost alien robotic prosthetic destroyed that hope, and so you fled, taking solace in the fact that at least it couldn't get any worse.
Then you'd found yourself captured by giant alien robots calling themselves Decepticons, and suddenly your life got much worse. Whoever your Autobot rescuers were, at least they didn't seem so bad. If only you knew what they all wanted your robot arm for.
