Summary
What if the roles between Bellamy and Clarke were reversed? What if Bellamy had received the nightblood solution instead of Clarke? While Clarke and all of spacekru try to survive in space, Bellamy is left behind in a world of fire. But what they don't realize is the nightblood solution worked. Not only does Bellamy survive the death wave but he isn't nearly as alone as he seems.
Basically Bellamy takes the serum and survives with toddler!Madi, while Clarke and the others are in space. And instead of Echo being with the others, Roan is in her place. Lots of grieving, surviving, some Relationships form, while others are grieved at the lost opportunity. Or are they?

Very AU.
Spoilers: Bella is older and more mature...to a degree. Jasper is darker and oooh who would have thought Alice is such a villain. So fun to read, so interested to see what happens now that Edward is without her, Carlisle is without a new gifted vamp, how her gift will be viewed by the Volturri, what will happen with Jasper and how he will complete the mate and if Bella will ever recover (and what will happen when she learns about her mom) and how Esme and Carlisle deal. So much to keep track of. Ok Edward knows, Alice made the pet law forward looking poor Olivia. Cannot wait to see what happens after so much lack of blood and the plane ride. What secret is Esme and Jasper keeping? Her death to her dad? -
