Summary
~Her world is a blast-off from the past.~
In the late 22nd century, the planet Resaaris, home to a race of green-skinned reptilian humanoids known as the Resarans, has a civilisation that's almost identical to Earth in the 1980s, with its nation of Erella being remarkably similar to 80s America in particular. Neera Nikto is a shy but kind-hearted seventeen year old Resaran girl who wants to become an astronomer, but she ends up with a lot more of a taste of the stars than she bargained for when she comes face to face with a human space explorer, the brazen Dr. Martin Keates, who's gotten in over his head along with his commanding officer upon their arrival on Resaaris.
Soon, Neera and her friends resolve to help Martin find his missing Captain and make it back to his ship, the Hemera, all while hiding him from the Erellan authorities - including staying one step ahead of a men in black government organisation, a military General who's particularly obsessed with capturing him, and a biologist with a dark and twisted plan.
No amount of movies they've seen can quite prepare the friends for what's about to unfold, but there'll be plenty of emotional growth and bonding along the way.

Summary

It might seem from the first chapter or 2 that this fic is going to rehash canon. It is NOT going to do that. This story is excellent. The author has a good grasp of the lore, and the characters, and what makes an exciting re:zero story. Highly reccommended.
