Technoblade slowly dragged his fingers along the spines of his books, carefully reading each title.
The Art Of War!
Technoblade snorted softly. He'd read Sun Tzu's The Art of War front to back so many times he has the entire thing memorized
"I suppose I could read it again," Technoblade mused, hand drifting towards where he knows the novel was located.
YES!
Technoblade's lips twitched into a small small at the voices happy cheer. His fingers were moments away from closing around the well loved book when he stilled, ears flicking to attention. His entire body tensed as he suddenly became hyper aware of every sound in his house.
The fireplace crackled gently, the wind gently sung outside, his heart pounded in his ears, and- there.
A muffled cry of distress.
Techno finds Tommy curled up below his basement, starving and covered in injuries and flinching at the smallest of movements, and he is furious. As Technoblade tries his hardest to help Tommy heal, Phil finds himself struggling to cope with his failures as a father, and the rest of the SMP is forced to confront the consequences of their actions. At least Ghostbur has plenty of blue to go around?

Summary
The smile on the mask seems gentle, filled with pity. “A father shouldn’t have to bury his sons.”
Phil nods. A jerky nod from a grieving father. Dream isn’t wrong. They’ve taken his children. His last son is on the run. Dream’s voice is filled with compassion as he continues:
“L’Manberg has truly hurt you, Philza.” Phil nods. “It’s taken your sons from you.”
Another nod. Phil clenches his eyes shut. “It should know better, now, shouldn’t it?” Phil freezes. Dream’s tone is no longer amused or light. It’s cold and direct. It has a message. A demand.
“Dream?” he asks, his voice hollow. And Phil’s eyes widen almost comically when he sees the item Dream is holding. The forbidden item. Sky’s the Limit. Phil should know there is no limit for Gods. A snap and Phil gets his wings back. He sighs in relief at the familiar feeling of the soft feathers on his back. And, under his mask, the God smiles.
“L’Manberg has hurt you too much, Angel of Death,” Dream says, “Maybe it is time you hurt it back.”OR: Phil decides that L’Manberg is definitely not good and Dream convinces him to go feral.

After being exiled, Tommy didn't think his life could get worse. His only solace in his isolation from his old friends was being able to fly in secret at night (unbeknownst to Dream, who refused to let him do much of anything fun, let alone use his wings). Tommy's wings, one of the only things he has that Dream doesn't.
Until Dream catches him flying.
And rips them off.

(Yes the title is from sofia the first, yes I'm laughing at it, I find it funny-)
In which Phil has created the Antarctic Empire from the ground up and takes in Techno and Wilbur along the way, and raises them while also ruling his kingdom. Tommy, sixteen, lives with Tubbo in an orphanage, the two of them running around in the cold streets of their town.
After a hectic day of getting separated from Tubbo, getting into a few fights, and ending up in an entirely new town, he comes across Phil, and saves him from an assassination attempt by smashing a plate over someone's head.
So then both Techno and Wilbur decide to see who this kid is, and Tommy sure is endearing, in the way that the first time they spy on him, he starts a fight in an alleyway over a bag of cookies.
(and then Tommy basically gets kidnapped into the royal family, but like, legally, y’know?)

“He’s just a child.” Phil answers distractedly, humming as his wings get gently yanked at.
“He’s the first of three to destroy life as we know it! Shouldn’t we, well, get rid of him?!”
“Oh, no.” Phil raises his eyes with a sharp glare. “Believe me, I have my own way of preventing the apocalypse.”

Or, Techno, Wilbur, and Tommy are basically chaotic forces of nature, destined from birth to end the world and bring destruction. Most who hear of the tale of them are trying their best to track them down, and to end the monsters while they’re still young, still just children.
Phil has a different plan.
(In which Phil raises the minecraft equivalents of the anti-christ with love and support, so much so to the point where the world ending is really just a funny thought, and Phil has three kids who casually have powers that are bit more extreme than anything else in the world)

Dropping his soda, Tommy stares at the television while his father and two older brothers stare at him. Stare at the silver bracelet on his wrist and his middle fingernail. "Tommy?" Phil says slowly, a look of disbelief and denial on his face, "Did Tubbo really give you that bracelet?"
"Tubbo."
Tubbo kept his hands behind his back, looking at the wall, guilt and panic growing in his chest as his father, Schlatt, looking desperate and tired. "Tubbo, tell me you're not- Tubbo show me your hands." Tubbo takes in a deep breath, shoulders trembling as he kept his hands behind his back. That's confirmation enough. "Tubbo."
Ranboo didn't have anyone, he lived alone in his apartment. Which is kind of perfect as he welcomes Tommy and Tubbo inside, both looking haggard and teary-eyed. They ran and came to him. He hugs them both and comforts them.

But as time goes on, Tommy begins to wonder about future Tommy, who doesn't seem to have been living a happy life. What happened in the past eight years that left him and the people around him so traumatized?
