Summary
Four years ago, Laura Matteo's eighteen-year-old child ran away after the worst argument of their lives and vanished without a trace. She has been searching ever since.
When an old lead takes Laura to an abandoned C&A building, she finds a strange headset still connected to a functioning computer. Hoping it might contain some clue to where her child went, she puts it on.
Instead, Laura wakes up in the Amazing Digital Circus.
There, she discovers that the purple rabbit her new companions once knew as Jax may be the child she's spent four years trying to find. There's only one problem. Jax has abstracted, and while his friends have discovered that he's still somewhere inside the monster he's become, finding him doesn't mean he's ready to be found by her.
Four years ago, Laura failed to listen when her child needed her most. Now, if she ever wants the chance to make things right, she'll have to do the hardest thing a mother who's spent years searching can possibly do.

In spite of these attempts, all of the humans seem to be growing closer with each other instead, and everyone can’t help but notice the growing bond between Pomni and Jax.

Jax hangs onto a familiar voice to anchor him in the infinite darkness, and gradually that void recedes. Now back from abstraction, he understands that if he wants to stay this way he must be honest with himself and the things he has done. Pomni and Kinger are searching for a way to bring everyone who abstracted back, and Pomni's a little sidetracked trying to help Jax work through all of his issues. She's going to get this stupid rabbit to finally face his demons, or maybe abstract trying.
This one is also about the messy and sometimes painful process of finding yourself and healing and earning forgiveness while still stumbling through life.
Haha wouldn't it be funny if Kinger figures out how to help Queenie de-abstract first and then Jax has a supportive found family willing to accept her as herself and--

Summary
Troubles of a problematic grief
After Jax's abstraction and Caine's comeback. The whole circus is struggling with shaping the news of their new reality. The ones who are struggling the most, Pomni and Caine.
What to do if the person that you were fighting for slips out of your hands all because of the faintest neglect. And all you're left with is sorrow, and the once called God that surrenders to the loss of that same person. Same God which you enjoy triggering.
What to do if the only one who seemed to be playing along with you collapses all of a sudden? And all you're left with is guilt, and a particular copy of a soul which seemed to be stealing this person from you, yet also intrigues you.No one else is dealing with these complicated feelings. Since it is known that Jax, wasn't particularly a good person. With little to no empathy. They all moved on.
Not these two.
How are you supposed to comfortably grieve a bad person?
"I was the only one who knew him." They both thought.
Little did they know that this same feeling would bring them together like a magnetic force. And trap them in an eternal dance, all the way down the rabbit hole.
