“Well, that’s gonna be a problem…” They lowered the baseball bat, streaked with blood. “You do look exactly like Wil though, if I didn’t know any better I’d say you two were twins.”
Or: sleep-deprived college student Techno Blade doesn’t know if there’s a good way to find out he bears an uncanny resemblance to the heir of a notorious crime syndicate, but being mistaken for said heir and kidnapped by a rival gang is certainly not it.

Techno knew the curse that lay beneath his fingertips. So he avoided touching others if he could help it and had never been around people long enough for them to consider returning the affection. Things were better that way, even if it made his skin itch with loneliness sometimes.
Moving into a community meant this was bound to change soon. Techno just hadn’t quite decided if that was a good thing yet.

"Maybe we're just scared you won't realize how much we love you?" he says. "Or that you'll slip away if we don't hold you tight enough?"
