(In this AU, Tiergan is Sophie’s neighbour instead of Mr Forkle. Also, the Black Swan doesn’t remember where Sophie is. They involved a Washer to wipe all memories of where they put her, to give her the best possible childhood. The plan was to trigger their memories when she turned 18. Tiergan moved to the Lost Cities with Wylie after Prentice’s mind break and Cyrah’s subsequent death, and somehow chose the house next to the Fosters. Wylie commutes back and forth from the Forbidden Cities, so he has a better understanding of human culture than most. The story will be in Mr Forkle’s POV.) (One-shot)

But Tim was already shaking his head, though it made him tilt for a moment, his jaw clicking shut.
It took several moments for Tim to breathe through whatever feeling he needed to breathe through and by the time he finally managed to raise his head fully once more he looked absolutely exhausted.
“Thank you for the training.” Tim said. “But I should really be-”
Tim didn’t so much as stand as rise from the chair momentarily without his legs ever really taking on his full weight before they buckled.
Dick had seen it a mile away, easily taking hold of Tim’s elbow and slowing his descent while also making sure that he didn’t overshoot the chair.
“Oh.” Tim breathed.

He yanked the chair over and threw the freezer door open, climbing onto it. Cold bit his skin, but not as icy as the chilled feeling that ran down his spine when he pushed the flap back, finding that everything was gone. All of his Graham Sandwiches, all of his Chicken Sandwiches, Pizza and burritos-everything he’d collected over the week, gone.
A sick, disgruntled cry pushed past his lips, tears pricking his eyes as he sobbed. He tried to cover it up with his hand-he tried to stop himself from crying but he couldn’t. Because Wally will go hungry again this weekend, like he did last weekend and the weekend before that.
That sick, permanent emptiness in his stomach will carve its way into him and stay there until Monday afternoon no matter what snacks he puts into his body.
Wally fell to sit on the cushion of the chair, crying, because that’s all he could do.

Or the fact that he was randomly kidnapped one morning on his way to school, and now he's in an alternate universe with a bunch of strange vigilantes that keep stalking him.
He thinks they mean well, but they're really weird. Besides that Red Hood guy. He's pretty cool. Though something about them- especially Nightwing- is familiar, that's not important. He has enough on his plate right now, considering there are multiple people trying to upend the fabric of time and space. He can figure out the other details later.

Knowing the chaos child, Tim might even have started making his way back to the cave, specifically leaving Jason here to wonder if the damned brat had actually drowned.
Sure, Red Robin had had his rebreather on, but something wasn’t sitting right with Jason.
Jason leaned fully forward, splashing a hand into the gross water, waiting for Tim to grab onto his wrist and pull him in or something.
There was no monsters that grasped onto him, not even some kind of mutated fish. There was no movement within the water either, not including the small current.
“Very funny Red,” Jason called. “Time to come up now.”
When there was no satisfied shit eating grin from the other young man, Jason felt his heart sink a little.
