It's late. Later than anyone should reasonably be up and exercising, but here Jimmy is, cutting through the water like a knife, back and forth through the lane closest to the edge of the pool. He's the only one in the water, but he's just as easily identified by the ridiculous Captain America swim cap stretched over his head, his bright yellow goggles flashing even in the low late-night lighting. It brings a smile to Tango's face, seeing Jimmy wearing his good luck charms even for a few laps at fuckoff-o'clock in the morning.
He's not a swimmer like Jimmy, so he isn't familiar with all the fancy-schmancy terminology, but he's sure there's some very elaborate way to describe the way Jimmy's muscles shift under his skin and ripple with every smooth stroke of his arms, long legs kicking strongly behind him. As of right now, Tango– being ever the wordsmith he is– can only think, oh wow buff holy void fuck and other eloquent verbiage.

Summary
Jimmy dreams of losing his wings.
Sometimes they're ripped from his back by hooded figures whispering things, things that he knows he feels like he should understand, but despite how hard he listens, their words sound like gibberish to his ears.
Sometimes he's falling and he lands on his back, his wings crushed beneath him, and he wakes up with a horrific pain in his back that he doesn't know how to soothe.
But most recently, he dreams about them being burnt off. He dreams about the feathers singing at the ends, before they burst into flames. He can feel the heat, but no matter what he does, he can't put them out. He wakes up most nights drenched in sweat; the smell of smoke sticks to him.
Which is weird, he thinks, because he doesn't have wings.

The Datastream Defender must leave the world of Oakhurst to continue on his journey. However, an all-too familiar face stops him from escaping, and Martyn can't ever run away from him. Not after all they've been through.

Pyro doesn't really think when he agrees to follow Owen and Scott to the dead woods. At least they're great company, even if he feels like he's constantly missing something. But hey, at least he's not alone! Alone. Under a deeply red crescent moon, which totally isn't a sign, or looks like a certain creature's fangs. But hey, vampires aren't real, so he shouldn't have anything to worry about.
AKA: Scene rewrite, because I've literally not been able to think about anything but this moment. Can be read as a stand alone or a prequel to Killing Time.

Summary
In a world of supernatural creatures, humans are a little scared of them. That’s where the Cryptic-Human Alliance Guild comes in, to facilitate better relations between humans and the supernatural, and for safety for the squishier humans.
Tango Tek, a recently turned vampire (in the last month) is volunteered to give presentations on ‘sleep safety’ to different communities to slow the increase of vampirism and reduce casualties. It’s at one of these presentations he meets Jimmy Solidarity; a man incapable of turning, no matter how many times he’s been drained, who asks for his help in stopping whoever keeps taking all his blood every month.
As Tango searches for answers, he learns a lot more about the supernatural community, and where his current stance lands him among his new peers. What’s more, why is Jimmy specifically unable to turn? And when the other humans find out, what lengths will they go to gain the same immunity?
A platonic ranchers fic in which Tango helps Jimmy deal with life-threatening encounters with familiar faces, some human, some supernatural.

As more soulbounds lose lives a rumour of a respawn related glitch spreads quickly, thanks in no small part to Impulse and Bdubs' gossiping. Some doubt the truth behind their words but soon enough everyone sees and experiences the effects of said glitch.
Across the server soulmates must adjust to drastic changes to their biology. Some embracing the change, others taking it as a chance to connect to their soulmate on a whole new level. However some don't quite get to grips with the new way they must interact with the world.

When they are given the task to hunt down and capture a mythical sea prince, their world changes as they discover secrets they may regret finding out.
The Canaries and TIES are welcomed back into the kingdom isles to rest and recover from their adventures. The two groups temporarily call their bets off to relay their information and shared interest in the Watchers, who seem keen on tracking their progress as much as the king does.
…Well, at least Martyn can spend more time with Scott, right?
