Summary
Animals think differently from people. It's a fundamental truth. Meerkats slaughter young that rival their position, spiders cannibalize their own mate, and Axolotls are incapable of love. This thought process can be transferred to the many species and mobs throughout the three realms. They simply behave differently from the average player, leading to what some would call unusual customs and traditions.
It has become common knowledge that Wither skeletons don't have empathy. They have a fundamental lack in understanding compassion and the villagers under Grox's rule have long since adjusted to this reality.
Except, for Grox at least, that idea might not be quite as true as he makes it seem.
Or…A collection of times (not in any typical order or with any reason) where Grox is unusually kind to Froggy Dude, bordering on empathetic. Though that should be impossible, right?

What follows is a slow, uncertain walk--towards something neither of them is ready to name.This is my first ever fanfic, and I wish you guys could like it. I used a summarizing tool for the summary because I didn't know how to write it.

Grox randomly finds a baby at his doorstep, usually, he would’ve just slammed the door at it, but there was something about that baby that made Grox reached for it and bring it inside without much thought put behind it.
With no experience for taking care of children he sends of his security agents to kidnap Froggydude.
Maybe Froggy knew how to care for children considering the fact that Froggy had a kid.

After everything that happened, Verity managed to save Mob.
But saving him came with a realization: if he truly wanted Mob to be safe, he had to stay away from him. So Verity made a promise—to never interfere with Mob’s life again and to become a better assistant from afar.
With nothing else to do, he starts spending his days with Grox instead. Maybe a little chaos will help him move on.
For a while, it works.
Until one day, Mob joins their server.
Now Verity has to face the one person he promised himself he would never approach again.
