Only when Po held the completed order in his paw did he realize the hand in front of him was not an open palm demanding food. It was a long claw of a digit, pointed directly at him.
Po’s mind was entirely quiet as he took in the kung fu legend and his shaking yet unerring digit. Or—no, that wasn’t his mind. It was the crowd, struck silent some time ago.
The bowl in Po’s hand was steaming hot, fresh from the noodle cart.
…There was only one thing Po was supposed to do with fresh bowls of noodles on the job.
“Here you go, sir.” Po croak-whispered. “Enjoy.”
“Thank you,” Oogway smiled, humor and kindness shining in his eyes. The ancient turtle swapped the bowl to his other hand and continued pointing at Po.
Po blinked at the turtle, uncomprehending. “Do you… want another one?”
“No, friend,” Oogway chuckled warmly. He took a sip, smacking his mouth thoughtfully. “Actually, yes. But later, I think.”
Oogway’s staff caught Po’s extended hand and lifted it high.
“The Universe has brought us the Dragon Warrior!”

Ron Weasley is a strategist. When he's thrown back in time to before his first year at Hogwarts, he gets to planning. He's going to win this war before it even starts, whatever the cost to his sanity-- or the sanity of his friends and family, who are more alarmed by the day.
This is a rewrite of the first fic in the series. It will have major differences beginning in chapter 4 - the prologue and first three chapters remain unchanged.

He’s tried over and over again to move on and heal and be happy, all he wants is to be happy, but the world has continued to fuck him over again and again and he’s lost hope.

Katsuki hadn't been able to answer, then. All he'd known was that they'd be able to do anything together, even if the hero business tried to spit them out just because they were missing bits and pieces. That was until Deku'd told him the truth, anyway. That he'd been hiding a quirk for ten years and Katsuki had just been stupid and trusting.
He doesn't get into UA. Deku leaves him behind and lives the dream alone. Katsuki picks up modelling and turns out to be surprisingly good at it, and after a while he thinks maybe he can make peace with never becoming a hero. This ain't a bad life, after all. There are stalkers and endless reporters but maybe he can make this work.
For all of six years, anyway. Then he figures out his new neighbour has green eyes and cute freckles. And then, Katsuki thinks, maybe god hates him.
