“Jeez, you really are sick.” Will muttered and Mike choked out a laugh.
“‘S just my luck.” He murmured, ignoring the way his head spun when he lifted it from the toilet seat.
Even under the harsh white light of the bathroom, Will still looked good, his honey brown eyes furrowed in concern and lips slightly parted. He was beautiful, and Mike wanted to bite him.
He recoiled a bit at the thought but now that he had thought it, it wouldn't go away. He could imagine it, digging his teeth into Will’s wrist, blood beading from the teeth marks faster than he could lick it up. The rushing in his ears got louder, twin heartbeats thudding in his ears and Mike turned to heave into the toilet again, not even bothering to stop the sobs that were ripping through him.

Mike Wheeler has always had shit luck; he just didn't think it was this shit. Something is wrong with him, and it all started when he was attacked by a stray Demo-bat.

Why would this terrifying creatures from another dimension start attacking Hawkins? Why now?
Is there some kind of coincidence to this terrifying attack?
Is Mike the leading connection of these supernatural events occurring in Hawkins?

Of course he didn't realize El was going to sacrifice herself for the world again. Of course Mike lost the two most important people of his life and was completely helpless to do anything.
Helpless. Mike was so helpless all the damn time.

It's almost-winter in Hawkins and Will wants to go out on a walk. Worried with the possibility of being taken again haunting him, the idea of someone else being taken instead, not to the upside down, but to his world, doesn't even cross his mind until he walks into a familiar face. But this face, shouldn't be here.
:Will comes across Mike. But Mike's not from his world. This Mike is from a universe when instead of Will disappearing on November 6th, it was him instead.
Trying to not cause some catastrophic world-ending event, Will attempts to hide this Mike from everyone else, hyjinks ensue.
This is set between season 4 and 5. -

“Hey,” Mike interrupted. "Crazy together, remember? I'm not letting you go crazy alone. Never alone." Mike's own cheeks warmed up. He couldn't believe this was happening. He felt so stupid. His thumb mapped Will's side of the face, feeling from his cheekbone to his jawline and looking in awe, wiping stray tears every once in a while.
“Crazy together." Will finally responded, leaning into Mike's touch.
