The maker fledgling bond was special but he just thought it was Louis coming back from getting more newspapers to sulk over Claudia some more but it wasn’t and he should’ve known because it didn’t feel the same: his heart didn’t fall into that comforting rhythm… the only comfort in this house these days.
But he should’ve known it was Claudia at the door but when he opened it he saw her, still looking like that child he had turned so many years ago but the way she held herself, the look in her eye, was that of a woman.”
Or what if Louis wasn’t home when Claudia came back in episode 5? What if the fight never happened?

"And by extension, you. You get that?" He dropped his hand to splay it wide on the table's surface and leaned forward, reaching with the other one until his fingertips grazed the bottom of Lestat's jaw. "You can ignore me until the end of the world. Don't change the fact that I own you now."

"Keep readin'," Louis urged him.
Claudia couldn't take the anticipation. "Gimme that," she said, snatching the notebook out of Lestat's hands before he could respond. He huffed at her but didn't otherwise complain, probably too caught up in that same anticipation.
"…and also used as a form of torture," Claudia read, shooting Lestat a pointed look.

Claudia and Lestat are cursed with nightmares and an emotional link that cannot be broken. The result is an understanding they thought they'd never share and the reforging of familial bonds. Bruce has no idea what's coming to him.

“You think you’re real cute, don’t you?” Louis said when he finally came up for air. He had Lestat pinned to one corner of the couch, one hand around his throat, the other wound vise-tight in his hair.
Lestat hummed, touched Louis’ bare ass with both hands. He’d been dreaming of this very moment since the last time they’d seen each other in person months ago. “I prefer to think of myself as ravishing,” he purred, laughing when Louis flashed a wicked grin.

Louis was not feeling especially charitable towards him at the moment, so as far as true love’s kiss went (a cliche, as if getting cursed wasn't bad enough), Lestat would be getting nowhere.
But it didn’t matter at all. Lestat was scared and miserable and he had a tail and he needed to see him.
Lestat gets on the bad side of a witch. Louis, against his better judgement, gets a cat.

Summary
Whatever carefully blank expression Lestat is trying on disappears like a slap. “Armand made a fledgling. Why would he do that?” Lestat asks.
“Oh, you know,” Louis says, watching the three dots of a new text pop up. “He knew Daniel was… important to me.”
He means to say it with rueful annoyance, as if to say, “so he ruined him.” But as Daniel’s text comes in—the most important question I should have asked you in that fucking interview: where do you buy coke in Dubai?—Louis’s voice trails off, his words maybe lacking some of the bite.
or
Lestat misunderstands what Daniel is to Louis and tries to be a champ about it. Meanwhile Louis rediscovers his drug of choice—Lestat.

There’s a panic within him that Lestat hasn’t felt for years when the sunlight streams in a perfect circle containing Claudia and Louis’s fledgling, a panic he hasn’t felt since the night he felt tainted blood rise to his throat and the love of his life drag a knife across it. It’s the panic of an ending unexpected, of a rug yanked from beneath him. He made his choice. He chose Louis. He knew if it came down to using his abilities to sway the audience, he only had the power for one. It wasn’t even something he had to think about. It was Louis. It was always going to be Louis.
But it’s Claudia before him now, looking back at him with a daughter’s eyes even as her face begins to crumble into ash.

That doesn’t make sense, and it feels like Lestat is keeping something from him. Why would Magnus keep him as a prisoner for so long only to do nothing with him?
Lestat stares at him unblinkingly, before sneering. “Oh, I see why Armand wants you. You’re a sick fucker, aren’t you? You were even as a human.”

“I only love Louis.” Lestat announced clearly and proudly. He stopped suddenly and straightened up with determination. “You go away and fuck off.”
“Lestat, for the sake of the lord…”
“I go home.” Lestat turned on his heel and began to walk backwards, though still in the right direction. Louis’s hand met his mouth, shutting him up in shock. “I needmyLouis.”
“It’s me. I’m standing in front of you. Stop the act.”
“You look very similar.” Lestat agreed cordially, still backing away. Louis blinked and regained the power to walk. Blessing his vampiric speed, he almost grabbed Lestat’s belt. Almost. Something weird happened. Lestat seemed to walk somehow faster. And higher. Higher?
“Lestat, you idiot, you’re floating. Get the fuck down!”
Louis, with mouth widely parted, observed his Lestat, levitating above the pavement, turning around and contemplating perhaps which way to choose. It looked so surreal that Louis almost burst into frantic laughter.
Lestat, apparently oblivious to the fact that he was flying, suddenly stopped mid-air and grimaced.
“I think I'm gonna be sick.”
