Summary

Aziraphale knows that Crowley loves him – can feel it thrumming in the air like a force of nature whenever Crowley looks at him, knows it as surely as he knows that the feeling is most thoroughly reciprocated. He also knows that acting on their desires in any meaningful sense could spell disaster. Neither of their respective sides would tolerate an angel and a demon being in love.
But if Crowley just so happened to be in the vicinity when Aziraphale just so happened to fall asleep, then any hellish or heavenly overseers couldn’t possibly think that what happened after was anything other than a demon seizing upon an opportunity to commit sin, now would they?
