A paranoid ex-marine, with tendencies towards the occult, taught his sons the same, and they were following in daddy dearest's footsteps. Or, a paranoid ex-marine, with tendencies towards the occult, was observed and copied by one of his sons, while the other bore the brunt of their anti-social activities.

It had been stupid really, and looking back Peter wasn't sure if he could even pinpoint what started it, but he hadn't been back to the Tower since. He had been too ashamed of his behaviour to face Tony, and had no intentions to return. But then, his class field trip is announced - to Stark Industries.
Peter is determined to keep his head down, swallow his hurt at the genius' rejection, and get through this trip as smoothly and painlessly as possible.
Tony isn't interested in seeing him anyway.

And perhaps it might have worked, if not for abusive Dursleys, Harry’s inability to fit into the magical world or his family when he learns of his heritage, and a boy named Theodore Nott.

Right now though, all he felt like was an old man. A very fragile, achy old man.
