The latter remains eerily silent as if he was contemplating and debating within himself on how to respond.

Summary
As a child, Hoseok was never allowed outside of the palace without guards, as it was seen as unfit for a prince to be out gallivanting with commoners. Still Hoseok would often sneak out to play with the other children and there he would find his fun and hear wild tales from the outside. The tales of how the Daegu wolves were ruthless, fearsome warriors who showed no mercy.
To a young Hoseok it was all rather exciting, like a fairy tale in one of his story books. But now, to a grown prince, the legends and stories gave Hoseok nothing but fear. It would be his worst luck to ever happen upon one of them.
He slumped his body on one side of the carriage letting his head rest, not the most comfortable position but it would do. He fluttered his eyelids closed and took deep breaths until he felt himself matching Seokjin’s across from him. He let himself slowly slip away to the sounds of the night, tiredness taking over his body.
There was a deafening howl as Hoseok’s eyes shot open to meet the glaring light of the moon.
