Dean has been quietly pining after his neighbor Cas for years, but as a vampire, he can’t exactly make friends with mortals — let alone date them. He’s pretty much resigned himself to admiring Cas from a distance.
Everything changes the day Dean falls off a ladder during some routine home maintenance and breaks his leg. Cas is the one who finds him, and he insists on taking care of Dean after he gets home from the hospital — never mind the fact that by the time Dean’s home, his leg is all healed.
Cas, obviously, can never know.

He knows part of having a liberal arts education is taking things outside of your major, but who takes 400-level English courses for fun? And even more galling, his classmates keep gushing about his short stories. You would think Dean Winchester is the next Isaac Asimov.
Then Castiel finally gets assigned to peer edit one of Dean’s short stories… and he recognizes it. To be fair, it’s a great story. Too bad Dean didn’t write it. He stole it, lifted straight from a fanfic, with the serial numbers barely filed off.

Summary

Problem is, he has to keep him, at least until the investigation into the double murder is closed. Owned by an Alpha who’d much rather get rid of him? Dean doesn’t think it bodes well for him.
A story in which Dean’s expectations get shattered because Castiel turns out to be unlike any Alpha he’s ever met, and in which Castiel figures out that the rules can’t answer every question and sometimes you have to make it up as you go.

Dean believed Castiel when Castiel said he could hear Novak, his mother’s dragon, talking—even though that was impossible. And Castiel didn’t care that Winchester, Dean’s family dragon, had a bad wing.
It wasn't much of a plan, but it was their plan. It should have been so simple.

Dean’s life is simple: work, gym, weekend, rinse, repeat. He’s not really an expert, but he doesn’t have any qualms about chatting people up as he works out. At least not until he tries to offer well-meant advice to a blue-eyed hottie in shorts and gets shot down – turns out the guy is a real jerk. Unfortunately, that’s only the beginning of their new spiteful relationship.

It's the second last night before Shepard got shipped off to N6 training, but before he and his squadmates are put through one of the hardest programmes in the galaxy, they decided to use these last moments of freedom to party the night away in one of the city's more popular clubs. However, Shepard wasn't just looking to drink and dance; he wanted one last hookup, one last night of no-strings-attached fun to tide him over for the coming weeks. He had plenty of interested parties, but there was only one who really caught his attention: an attractive fellow soldier whom he could tell would treat him right, a man who was just as interested and was quick to take him up on his offer.
But what followed was more than just a moment of quick satisfaction - it was passionate, intense, and revelatory in more ways than one, a chance encounter that would stay with Shepard forever.
