Summary
If there was one actual gift Corporate had given them, it was that they couldn’t remember what humans actually looked like, not even Tessa; so J could pretend the skin Cyn wore was just some nameless organic jackass she had decided she liked the look of. Or that she’d even grown it herself with her disgusting, hideous supernatural powers.
The denial never lasted long when she had to be in close contact with Corporate, and once it stopped working things got… well they got bad.
But J has endured everything Cyn's rotten, vindictive core could throw at her, what else does she have to lose?

I read “The Fraggening” by Hill2002, and came to a realization. It is only after J receives some form of nudge that she may be capable of having a positive relationship with our favorite golden retriever enthusiast. Whether that nudge is above a flight of stairs or in front of a moving train depends on the author.

Summary
Khan dies not too long after Nori, and Uzi is left alone. The drone child quickly falls into disrepair, becoming rusted and glitchy. Uzi is only barely able to survive, she is forced to change herself in ways no Worker Drone ever has before.
J knows that her coworkers are lonely. As much as she refuses to admit it, she was lonely as well. So when N brings in a strange Disassembly Drone who seems to have just as isolated a life as the rest of them, who is she to turn them away?
