So everyone is shocked when the new specialist they sent is to help is Myers, all the way back from Antarctica. Or at least… Hellboy is since no one bothered to tell him since he was the one who sent him off.
The creature they are dealing with is similar to stuff John has been studying in Antarctica.
So everyone is expecting myers to come back as an icicle in a parka but is shocked when he comes back looking like a badass longer hair, scars, and is that a tattoo? hellboy is shocked by the transformation feeling guilty that it was cause of him myers changed so much.
