Summary
Jinu has been Gwi-Ma's slave for centuries.
A pet, equally tortured and prized. He doubted he'd ever be let out of his cage.
Until the day he finds himself offered up as a gift—tribute, bribe, trap—to the demon lord's heir, a Hunter-raised half-blood demon called Rumi who hates him and what he represents on-sight. He half-expects her to send him back to the Underworld in pieces.
Rumi sees his presence as a death sentence for her. It's becoming hard enough to hide her patterns from Mira and Zoe. How is she supposed to hide a demon-gift sent by the demon lord of the Underworld?
He's clearly a trap, one that leaves her with no good choices. Every subsequent decision seems to magnify her patterns and drag her deeper into her demon heritage.
What to do? Hide him? Kill him? Contain him? Or...help him?

Summary
Sometimes a demon is your inner doubts.
Mira, Rumi and Zoey met each other in their second year at Jakhodo University as roommates. Sharing their flat the three rapidly formed a close friendship in which they became more and more like family over the last two years. The girls bonded over their love for music which resulted in them creating their own band, Huntrix, performing in bars and on other smaller stages whenever possible.
When their latest performance in the nearby town bar is disrupted by a drunk friend group the girls hope to never see those boys again, only to come across them more often than they could have ever anticipated.
The girls seem to never get rid of them, but maybe after a while that isn't as bad as they first imagined.Jinu the self-centered prick may have a softer side to him than Rumi expected. He could be the one to set her mind free.
Maybe Zoey's fears about being too much for a special someone can be gone with him by her side.
And Mira's small family can only grow stronger when she realizes that more people can care for and love her.
