Peter wished he could say that it was. Let his dad keep thinking that he was the nice little boy who never did anything bad, except for the times he was forced to. But he was bad now, and that realization caused a lump to grow in his throat.

Wherein Harry comes back to Severus' rooms after a rather difficult day, and is able to relax in the warm safety of the man's rooms, taking comfort from the quiet care offered to him.~~~
A hand tapping the arm of his chair has the teen opening his eyes just to look over at Severus, enough warning that he doesn't flinch away when the same hand rises from his chair to his forehead, slipping beneath his fringe, cool, callused fingertips against his scar, a wrinkled, smooth palm pressed across the rest.
It's cool, and soothing, and Harry cannot help but to tilt into the touch, even just a little. Perhaps that's why it lingers for far longer than it surely needed to, still there even when the man speaks once again,
"Hotter than usual, but not necessarily a fever. You'll do.""Wow, thanks," he grumbles, notably half-hearted. Severus scowls at him, then, but isn't particularly sharp or genuine, eyes more warm than cold,
"You know what I mean, snot."

Summary
Harry is brought carefully out of a vision by Snape and Theo, soothed by them in a way that still lets him fall apart, but doesn't allow him to shatter entirely.He is looked after, and it makes recovering so much easier.

Theo shuffles even closer, now shoulder to shoulder with Harry, giving him a fresh wave of strength, though the taller teen likely doesn't know it. Harry still lists back slightly, hoping to convey his gratitude and acknowledgement with the weight of it.
From the huff of breath that warms his neck, shuddering over his skin, the message gets across.

Harry doesn't respond this time, just thumps his head against Snape's shoulder once again, heedless of how it makes his headache briefly worse, sparks sharp and hot against the back of his eyelids. There's an arm around his back, bracing him close and careful.
Snape doesn't push him away even though there is surely blood smearing onto his robes, his glasses surely digging in, and Harry is trembling fiercely enough to have his two companions shuddering from the sheer strength of it.

Snape’s eyes are bulging. “My clothes are not for sale, Potter. Now hand it over. I won’t ask a second time.”
Harry hunches his shoulders. “But-”
Snape growls, apparently at the end of his patience. His wand jumps into his hand.
Harry is forced to let go of the fabric and the cloak gets yanked off him, flying directly into Snape’s hand.
Harry bites his lips, hard, trying to ignore the aching in his chest. There are words at the tip of his tongue and it takes all of his willpower to keep them from slipping out.
Don’t do this, please. It’s the only thing keeping me sane right now. Please, let me have this. Just this one thing. I won’t ask more of you than that, I promise, please-

He couldn’t explain the visceral feeling of dread, given there was absolutely no indication of Loki being hurt badly. Ignoring the fact that any harm that may have befallen him was less than acceptable, his reaction seemed unfounded, and he attempted calmness so as to not make a fool of himself.
Yet as soon as Mobius darted into treatment room five and laid eyes on Loki, he knew immediately that the ominous vibes were right on the money.
Loki returns from a solo mission, traumatised and in need of some emotional TLC, as only Mobius can provide.

Summary
Loki’s eyes met his with a rather traumatised expression, and Mobius’ guilt peaked sharply. He really should have anticipated a scenario like this, especially considering the extreme reaction triggered the last time this had happened. It was a terrible oversight on his part to have not exercised more caution when leaving Loki alone… at all, really, but most especially without warning.
A violent storm cuts short Loki's nap, and Mobius' unexpected absence sends him reeling.

Summary
Harry was running before he could think, his wand gripped in his hand as he flung himself into the muggles, dragging them to the ground and rolling quickly, getting one knee under himself and then one foot, staggering to standing just before the dragon reached them. There was a cacophony of sound, the dragon’s roar, the screams of the muggles, shouting from behind the dragon. He could see her eyes, pupils just thin slits against the gold, and then only her open mouth, white teeth and crimson tongue, flames curling out of her throat. His mind was clear, for the first time in years.
“I do not exist to die,” he whispered.
OR:
Purpose fulfilled after the final battle, Harry has drifted, following the plan he set before his death, but always feeling like this life did not truly belong to him. After a close encounter with a dragon, Harry realizes that he cannot continue along his old path, and ends up in Romania, chasing the thrill of dragons but finding more than he expected in the company of Charlie Weasley.
This is a story about finding a way to keep living when you no longer know how. It’s also a story about dragons, ancient magic, found family, and hot dracologists.
