Left with a note that tells him she's his, Buck tries to do the right thing and step up to the role that was given to him, finding himself responsible for taking care of an entire human being who is depending on him.
And with Eddie's help, who is on his own journey of healing and self-acceptance, they both learn about the readymade family they've always had as they end up co-parenting their children together and becoming something more.

Summary
Ed is an engineer aboard the Revenge, an interplanetary research vessel on a multi-year mission to study Jupiter's moon Europa. An accident requires that Ed awaken from cryostasis over six months early, and finds his only companion to be Stede, the ship's onboard AI. They develop an unconventional friendship, but is it possible to have more?
This is classic mutual pining with a sci-fi twist, inspired by all of my favorite stories about the nature of personhood.

“You–” Ed was struggling to parse what Stede was saying. “You’re playing your version of this song for me, right now? Like, in real time?”“Yes, Edward, that’s correct,” said Stede softly.
Ed’s brain momentarily seized up. He supposed it made sense that Stede was capable of learning a set of rules to do something like arrange and play a piece of music. There was something unnerving about this song, though. It felt, well–it felt organic . Reactive. Almost collaborative in a way. Ed was lost in the push and pull of it, until the last notes softly petered out.
“So, what did you think?” asked Stede. It sounded nervous again. Why the hell would someone program an anxiety response into a bot?

“Ed still won’t talk to you, then?” Lucius asks, in a tone that manages to be both sympathetic and sarcastic, as Stede walks through the door with a frankly depressing bouquet of flowers in his hands.
“I just want to apologize.” Stede sniffs while Frenchie nods pityingly.
That said, it would be a lot easier to apologize if Stede knew what he’s actually done wrong in the first place.

Summary

But spending so long drowning in compulsory heterosexuality has left wounds all over Stede's heart that he hadn't even realized were there. Luckily, Ed is happy to help him stitch up every last one.
Basically a sickeningly emotional fic where Stede and Ed explore each other and their sexual relationship and navigate the choppy waters of trauma with the healing power of gay love.
Technically a sequel to "Different, With You" but can be read on its own.

Idly, he drags his palm down Geralt’s flank. There’s comfort in the familiar topography of the witcher’s body, and isn’t that a heady thought? Geralt is - has allowed himself to be - familiar territory. It seems a silly thing to be so giddy over, but Jaskier smiles as he nuzzles against the nape of Geralt’s neck.

Summary
You meet up with your soulmate in dreams once or twice every year your whole life, giving you the chance to grow up together and befriend each other no matter where you live. The catch is you only remember what happens in those dreams if you’re currently in one, or if you meet in real life and you BOTH want to be with each other, meaning your waking lives carry on as they would have otherwise with you none the wiser as to whether or not you have a soulmate out there.
This leads to unexpected and wonderful tearful reunions between soulmates discovering each other in waking life, but if your waking selves don’t get along or have emotional constipation (cough, Geralt, cough cough) you and your soulmate can only watch helplessly from your dream meetings as your waking selves make things terrible for both of you without even realizing it.
(Created my own homebrew soulmate!au rules to get myself some solid logical worldbuilding where the characters still have to choose each other in the end, no matter what what destiny says.)

Jaskier thinks it’s the perfect excuse to stay in bed the whole day, regardless of the fact that Geralt insists they brave the weather outside if they want to reach Kaer Morhen before the trail becomes impassable.
It’s not even dawn yet, the harsh winds rattling the closed windows as rain continues to pour relentlessly. The sounds of thunder rumbling and lightning crackling in the distance breaks the quiet intermittently.
