Summary
Back when Keith had been holding an unconscious Lance during season 1, he ran his fingers through Lance's hair in a soothing motion that wasn't supposed to mean anything. But that was how Keith noticed how ridiculously soft and fluffy Lance's hair was and he has had a kind of obsession with it.
Obviously, Lance's skin is also ridiculously soft, considering the skin-care routine he goes through.
But it's not Keith, it's Shiro who notices which part of Lance is the softest. His too big and too easily breakable heart.
No worries though, because Shiro and Keith are determined to not just conquer that soft heart but to also protect it.

Summary
Keith has a near-death experience, but he’s actually pretty okay afterwards — he considers it all part of the Paladin calling. Lance, on the other hand, is wrecked by it, and so he trains his butt off to ensure that Keith will never die on his watch.
Or, as I originally posted on my Tumblr: Keith unintentionally spies on Lance in the training room ...
… where the Blue Paladin is kicking ass. And Keith’s kind of mesmerized by it. Then he’s more than mesmerized — he’s freaking out because he’s actually kinda sorta into this brutally efficient soldier version of Lance.

Summary
College campuses are a cesspool of awkward encounters. Some more unnerving than others, as Lance comes to find. He thinks it's important to note that in all those instances, Keith is there to witness them. Actually, that's unfair. Admittedly Keith happens be useful in getting him out of those situations. Affection, as it goes, grows stronger when you're constantly being "saved" by a protective rival – but mostly friend at this point.
Or 5 times Keith helped Lance out of a situation and the 1 time Lance tried to pay back the saves.
