Summary
Levi can’t see the end of the Siren’s tail, it is still hidden beneath the choppy waves. Blue eyes that reflect the bottomless depths settle on Levi.
“Hello there,” a deep voice croons from a sharp grin revealing canines that could slice through flesh with ease.
“Fuck off,” Levi hisses as he tightens his grip on the hilt of his sword. Pointing it towards the vile creature's chest. He should lunge right here and now, this Siren has killed his fellow men and set their ship aflame. But something pulls at his muscles, drawing his tendons tight and leaving him locked in place as he glares across the short distance between them.
“Aren’t you an interesting one,” the Siren ignores the threat of Levi’s weapon, leaning forwards until the tip presses against their chest. “My song didn’t affect you, did it?”

Summary
Hange Zoe, a marine life researcher, has worked her whole life to study the elusive merfolk that reside in the earth's waters. With the help of her team, they gain a shaky trust of an older pod and hope to document as much of the mysterious creatures as they can, including the rumored courting rituals and mating habits.
Merfolk are extremely familial and live exclusively with their parents and siblings until they reach sexual maturity. When they do so, the alphas will go off to find a mate while the omegas stay put in the pod. The wandering alphas will approach a pod with a compatible omega and begin courting one of the offspring. Eren, the youngest pup of the researcher's chosen pod, has just gotten to sexual maturity. To the research teams slight surprise, Eren doesn't leave the nest, so to speak. That can only mean one thing.
At least the team won't have to track Eren all over the ocean, because he's staying put.

Summary
He probably stands all of five foot and three inches, Erwin reckons. His build fills out the bar’s uniform: the short sleeves of the branded t-shirt hug his biceps tightly, and with a smirk, Erwin notices that the man’s black jeans are cuffed at the bottom to suit his short stature. Even under the warm glow of the bar’s tacky LEDs, his skin is still noticeably pale. Erwin watches as the man leans on the bar towards one of the customers, a douchey looking guy with a peach fuzz beard, and quickly takes his order. He pulls a pint like he’s done it a million times before, and Erwin can only feel relief that Keith seems to have found someone competent for once.
“It’s Levi, right?”
The man looks up at him- and really, he has to look up. Erwin guesses he must be a foot taller than him, at least.
“Yeah.”
His voice is deeper than Erwin expected. There’s a hint of an accent there - something Northern. He wonders where Levi’s from. How old he is. He looks young - maybe a first-year who’s just moved to Manchester for uni.
“Ah. Good to meet you. I’m Erwin.” He introduces himself.

Summary
Levi's plans for an enjoyable, calm holiday season are quickly derailed when Dean Erwin Smith takes pity on his students who don't have a place to go for the holidays, inviting them to spend them in his large capeside home. Frankly, it's a huge headache -- Levi has to deal with so much inane college-student drama, keeping his relationship with Erwin under wraps, and cleaning up after six of the most disgusting human beings on the planet (plus his equally mess-inducing coworker).
Meanwhile, Armin's mind is plagued by two things: the small touches and details his professor is probably going to kill him for noticing, and the stupid little crush he's been harboring on his friend for the past few months. Being stuck in a house for a week with both aforementioned parties is not helping his situation, and on top of it all, his roommate Eren seems to be on the verge of a mental break. Armin might not survive to see the new year.
