Inspired by the song Monitoring by DECO*27!
Shadow Milk had been lonely for a while, and so had Pure Vanilla. But when guy meets guy, things start to get… messy.
Vanilla smiled gently in an attempt to ease the tension. “You don’t have to pretend to be perfect. I’m not sure where you got the idea that you should be, but it’s unrealistic. Please,” he said, resting a hand on the newcomer’s. “All I want is for you to be yourself. In this shop all are welcome! And besides,” he chuckled, “it’s only me and you right now. It’s not like we’re performing for a crowd.”
He was met with a blank stare. His hand still rested on the other’s. The visitor could feel Pure Vanilla’s warmth seeping into his cold skin. He felt the pressing need to pull away, to free himself from this scary feeling, this unfamiliar sense of comfort, to leave the shop right this moment and run far, far away, to keep himself isolated and safe, safe from the dangers of this unnaturally kind stranger. But somehow, he couldn’t bring himself to.
“…Shadow Milk.” He blinked. The other had been silent for so long that Vanilla had begun to think he was mute. Noting his obvious confusion, the man backtracked. “Shadow Milk. My name is Shadow Milk.”

Summary
The sun sets slowly over the Garden of Delights.
Kneeling before her, the Bringer of Happiness captures every single bit of Hollyberry's attention. She is a glittering swath of gentle pinks and whites, beautiful and ethereal and consumptive. Close enough to Hollyberry that their foreheads brush. The feeling is intoxicating. Hollyberry swallows back her unease.
The Bringer reaches up to cup her cheek. Her dough is ice cold. Shouldn’t she be warm? She'd been warm before. Hollyberry doesn't move, can't move. Amidst the haze there is dread, nibbling steady at the corners of her mind.
“Shush,” the Bringer prompts, though Hollyberry has said nothing at all. “None of that now, my dear.” The Bringer wipes a tear from Hollyberry’s cheek. Her smile is sweet and sharp. “Can't you see? It is finally your turn to be happy.”
OR: Hollyberry loses herself in the Garden.

Summary
Pure Vanilla could swear a voice not his had been in his head, a face not his in his reflection. No matter how hard he tries to tell himself nothing's wrong, there's always a feeling of dread and uncertainty in his words.
He soon has to face the reality that maybe he's never been alone when he and his company crash into Beast-Yeast only to find it completely demolished by a force he somehow recognizes.
Meeting new friends (and foes) along the way, truths he once knew all too well begin to crumble into nothing but deceit, and untruth worries he's had begin to become truer and truer. In all the chaos, Pure Vanilla can only wonder:
Can he save himself from this obsessive monster out for him and his soul jam?
