-so uhhhh I have no inspiration to write fics these days bc I’m stuck in writers block so have depressing poetry instead-
Hopefully this isn’t too much of a shock
Also yes, dw, I am mostly fine
I am medicated (have been since Jan) and I go to therapy (started over a year ago)
Just been in a bad episode lately
What can you do?
High functioning depression and anxiety (also maybe undiagnosed ADHD) fucking sucksI am from a desi culture (I am Pakistani), and as brown families go, I have it good.
But getting yelled at constantly is never fun even now that I’m an adult. So voila, repressed rage and sadness turns into poetry for me.It’s probably not good.
It’s nonsensical and it is just free verse
But hopefully someone likes it.
I just write to cope.I have mentioned I write poetry, so here is that
I have written happy ones too, but 95% is depressiveHopefully someone enjoys 🙃
(I would post this on my website but my mom reads it so I can’t)

Summary
Roz is struggling to connect with the other Rozzums. So many of them are so... devoid of anything past their current task. Finding a way to get back to Brightbill is taking longer than she thought, so she decided she needed help. But some of her findings lead her to question if she'd be so willing to leave, when some of the Rozzums show glimpses of something other than their programming. Like her. She so wanted to not be alone. Did they not too deserve to have the ability to feel, and think for ones own? To not be emotionless when Roz was proof they could feel joy and love?
Miles away, Brightbill is waiting for Roz to return from her migration. With some help from Fink, he is able to put into words what he really wants to be; a good leader. (Un)Luckily for him, something takes hold of the island. Something abnormally quick, invisible, and deadly. The island looks to him for courage, and he cannot falter.
As Roz's heart is torn between the Island and her fellow Rozzums, and Brightbill deals with more on his plate than he bargained for, both must overcome betrayals, figure out mysteries, and survive long enough to meet each other again.
How many casualties will it take for them to reunite?

Oddly enough, between trying to get her ship fixed, avoiding a vague yet menacing government agency hell-bent on tracking Becky down, and introducing her to everything Earth has to offer, he forgets to mind.
Oh, and by the way, it's the 80s.
Or: a tobecky au that's like Lilo and Stitch meets every awful 80s sci-fi movie that I adore.

He did mean to skip dinner the next day.OR: Peter has to battle his internal demons after the guilt from Ben’s death causes him to develop an eating disorder and self-harm addiction. Aunt May’s grief makes her too emotional to think clearly, so Peter is disowned. He fakes normalcy around the Avengers until things get too difficult to hide. Apparently overworking yourself behind THE Tony Stark’s back isn’t a proper coping mechanism.
