“What’s going on?” Lena asked slowly.
Alex sighed on the other end of the line. “First of all, Lena, I’m glad you’re okay. From what the DEO can find, the bomb set off at L Corp did a lot of structural damage, but didn’t kill anyone or cause any major damage to the area around it. We have Kara to thank for that.” Kara blushed and ducked her head, mumbling about paramedics. “But something else has come up and… well, I’m gonna send it to you, okay?”
Kara grabbed her phone as a notification dropped down, indicating Alex had just sent a link to something. “It may be nothing,” Lena distantly heard Alex continuing, “but it might also be very, very bad.”

Kara slows to a stop sign and feels the tension build in the truck as Winn anticipates a reaction.
She doesn’t give him one.
“So?” She looks ahead at the intersection. Focusing on pushing in the clutch and shifting through the gears when it’s her turn to go.
“I just… I wasn’t sure if you knew. And thought maybe it’d be something you’d noticeably react to -- once you found out. And, well, what if you found out from Lena and reacted in front of her? So I--”
“Why should I care if her last name is Luthor?” Kara cuts him off.
“Kara--”
“Lionel didn’t even get charged. The evidence was circumstantial at best,” Kara dismisses as she takes a corner just a tad too fast.
“Kara, her dad was the main suspect in your entire family’s murder.”

See, the Trolley Problem is a thought experiment in ethics and psychology that isn’t designed to have a solution. The traditional scenario has a tram or trolley on a set of tracks, leading to a fork. Now, one track usually has five people on it, while the other has only one person. The track forks, so either way, the trolley is going to collide with someone. Someone has to die. Now, the moral dilemma comes into play when there’s one person standing beside the lever that controls which track the trolley takes. That person has the fate of those six people in their hands; they’re stuck with the morality of choosing to kill one person to save five, or sacrificing five for one.”

Even if a god could take the place of Delilah, Laudna isn’t sure how she feels about the gods, unsure if having any of them inside her head would be any better. All she can think about is how if there was anyone she would want in here head for the rest of her life as her patron…..it would be Imogen

Laudna is a children's librarian who loves doing story time, but unfortunately the kids find her more scary-scary than fun-scary. So it's very rare for her to be able to do that.
Imogen runs an outdoor school where schools in Jrusar send grades of children to learn about nature and get some learning done outside of a traditional classroom. Finding someone to lead a story time with the kids has been a bit difficult, so Imogen reaches out to the local public library.
This is a modern AU, so they don't have magic per se. This is generally going to be from Laudna's perspective, with a lil Imogen sprinkled in for flavour. I'll add more tags and characters as they become relevant.
