Common, Dream would call him.
The boy reached out a cautious hand. “Take my hand, I’ll help you back over.”

Ranboo is a first-class passenger aboard the RMS Titanic, heading to America with his uncle, Dream. Tubbo is a mechanic from the Belfast docks who won his ticket in a bet last-minute.

Summary
Tubbo was having a bad streak.
It started when Dream challenged one of his claims and Tubbo found himself unable to counter his challenge without revealing his true nature to the members of his cabinet. Letting Dream put his filthy and greedy little hands on his best friend as he dragged him away from his domain was one of the hardest things he’d had to bear. But it was a sacrifice he’d needed to make.
Wilbur, the main founder of L’Manburg, hadn’t really been fond of gods and their schemes, probably because he was fed up with the ones he had in his family, and the sentiment was shared among the citizens. If they found out that their very recently elected president was himself a god there would have been an uproar and the city would not have survived that.
So Tubbo grit his teeth and let Dream think he’d won.

Techno never had much of an interest in mortal affairs, so for him to get involved too was truly bad luck. If Tubbo believed in beings higher than himself he might have thought that they hated him.

“You died.” Tubbos voice was barely above the whisper but as he said it the whole world seemed to quiet. The birds stopped chirping, the grass stopped rustling, even the groans of the undead from the caves below seemed to quiet.
“I know that. And I got revived.” Tommy said. Tubbo shook his head and tears came to his eyes. “You died and it was my fault and you stayed dead.” Tubbo started. “And I cried, and I begged, and I prayed,” “Your not religious…” Tommy pointed out. “I know!” Tubbo Wailed.
“I know I’m not religious and I know no amounts of screaming and crying and begging and wishing would bring you back but your here!” He paused for a second and let out the most broken sob Tommy thinks he’s ever heard a tubbo make ever.

The portal was meant to take Tommy back to his dimension but he ended up in a dimension where he died. Everyone he sees wants him to stay and he just wants to go back home.

The boy woke up without warning. Where was he? Where was everybody? He looked at his surroundings, taking in the broken pieces of concrete lying around him. The boy quickly sat up at the sudden sound of voices. Had Halo escaped prison and returned for revenge? He needed to go and find his friends to warn them. He scrambled to his feet, before promptly collapsing. He braced himself for the pain he knew he was about to feel, but when he hit the floor, nothing happened. The boy touched his face gingerly, before freezing in place. His hand had gone through his cheeks.
For the first time, he looked at his fingers, eyes widening as he saw their transparent appearance. What had happened?
A memory flashed in front of him. An albino shapeshifter was calling out to him, begging him to leave. A brunette with a few random white patches among his curls next to her, in tears, face conflicted with emotion. A girl with ebony hair and glowing red eyes, filled with blazing fury. A haunting scream that the boy would never forget came from one of his friends, and then suddenly he was left alone in silence.
He was dead.

There’s a ghost in his walls.
Well, maybe not literally but Wilbur has no explanation for the weird occurrences he’s experiencing.
The random cold chills, not being able to find his keys, hearing weird noises when he lives alone. All signs that point to a ghost. But logically there is no ghost in his walls because there is no such thing as ghosts.
They are a made up story- a tale whispered to children to get them to fall asleep. Spindly hands would reach from under the bed, millions of eyes peeking out from the closet, screams echoing in the dead of the night.
All made up stories to scare children to sleep. Yep, not real.

Dream sneers, he spits at the Generals feet who looks entirely unimpressed.
"I shall never, I am king, it is my right to this throne. I earned with my own blood, sweat and tears. I shall never surrender to the likes of you."
And Tommy, his non-existent blood boils at that.
It's been a good 4 years since he ever allowed himself to be shown. How about he breaks that record?
"You never earned that title."
Or
Tommy was a child king, was being because he's dead now. A ghost forever to haunt the halls of the Kingdom he had only ruled for a short time.

He only wanted to be left alone, be rid of all the people coming in his house and taking away his furniture. It’s not fair, it’s not theirs.
He wants to be alone.
And now he will be.
Tommy turns away from Wilbur’s corpse with a satisfied smile, about to go wake one of the other two up with a loud noise or something of the sort, when something stirs behind him. Bedsheets ruffle, and if Tommy had a heart, it would’ve stopped in fear and somewhat mixed dread.
The shuffling did not come from the body.
There, rubbing his eyes as if he were just waking up from a long sleep, yellow feathers sticking out everywhere in his curly brown hair, a pale transparent figure similar to Tommy’s own sits inside his own body, slowly and steadily waking up.
The ghost of Wilbur opens his eyes, looking around confused before locking eyes with Tommy. “Hello?”
Tommy’s metaphorical heart drops to his feet.
“Oh fuck.”
