ok so i know tubbo and ranboo dont like being shipped together but like i've said when i've bookmarked other romance fics, i am reading these for the cheesy (heartwrenching) romance and literally all of the names could be changed and i would still read it (or maybe im talking to myself but hey, talking to myself is entertaining). it doesnt mean i love the story any less, just saying that i dont ship irl tubbo and ranboo (c! beeduo on the other hand... (dont come at me for shipping the canonically married couple)). anyway, real review:

In which, Tubbo’s vigilante career isn’t doing a good enough job of keeping a roof over his and his best friend Tommy’s head so Tubbo decides to be an intern for some higher up superhero’s.
And just when Tubbo thinks his luck can’t get any better - his bosses (along with Tubbo’s coworker, Ranboo) are trying to hunt down his alter ego; Honeybee.
Oh! And on top of that some hero’s - that are old friends of Dream - are trying to find Tubbo and Tommy because they’re “worried about the teens” and “they’ve been missing for four months”.
Can’t Tubbo ever get a break?

People are… strange, during the war. Ranboo’s used to how people act under this constant low-grade terror from so many other wars he can barely keep straight in his head. It’s easiest to ignore it. It’s less embarrassing for everyone if he pretends he doesn’t see it.
All this is to say that when Ranboo unlocks the door of his flat and finds somebody standing in his front room, his first thought is just to ask if he’s meant to know them. He hopes he doesn’t, and that they leave quickly.
“Do I…” Ranboo starts, then notices he can see right through this person.

Snowchester is a little more forgotten each season. In the winter its wood blends into the yawning maw of forest behind it, always dark and made more shadowed by rot. In the summer the snow will almost melt, and mushrooms push through the floorboards. Round purple flowers spring up in the garden with the vigor of something that doesn’t know it's dead.
In the summer it attracts amateur ghost hunters, teens desperate for privacy, and the occasional developer.

He skimmed through the pages until he found what he was looking for. The date: September 19th, 1968.
