Summary
For a moment, Tommy almost thought the man had somehow seen him. But he quickly brushed it off, knowing that it was impossible. Tommy was imperceivable, because he was dead and he was a ghost.
Tommy expected the man to move on, to keep walking as though nothing had happened. But the man kept standing there, his face flickering through emotions too fast for Tommy to register.
The man stared in Tommy’s direction with startling clarity, as though he wasn’t actually looking through Tommy and actually knew he was there.
It was silent aside from the pouring rain, and Tommy felt like he was frozen in place.
“Tommy?” The man said, his voice disbelieving. “Is that you? A-Are you real?”
The silence echoed afterward.

Tommy is a ghost without his memories. He’s alone for years until his brother, Wilbur, who can see ghosts, finds him.
Wilbur also died but was revived by a necromancer named Phil. When Tommy is found by Wilbur, he is offered a family and a chance to be revived too and live again.

However, Ranboo was a lot slower to react, understanding what was going on much too late. A figure stepped out of the bush and a shout was heard. Before Ranboo could run a rough gloved hand grabbed his tail causing him to yelp and stop where he was. A hand grabbed his arms, yanking him down.
“Look what we have here,” The man above him commented with a whistle. Ranboo cried out, trying to yank his arms out of the hunter's grasp, fizzling into particles. Though when they cleared he was dreadfully still where he was. His Ender pearl whirred and whined pitifully.

Tubbo was a normal 18 year old boy in a super hero and villain dominated world. That is to say he was broke and unemployed. Everytime he tried to get a job he was rejected because he “doesn’t have enough education to be qualified” or “doesn’t legally exist” but luckily, on a walk towards the middle of no where he finds work where he least expects it.
Good news: it pays more then minimum wage and has generous hours
Bad news: His employer is a villain and he is pretty sure he will die if he says no
