Tom sighed. “Let's start with a roll call then shall we?”
He looked down at his clipboard and the long list of names.
“Um.. Tommy?” He called out. Almost all of the voices in the room replied with an uncoordinated ‘here.’

“Something has been stolen from us,” Thanatos said, his wings puffing up as he spoke. “Something that is very important to us. And we are fairly certain that the person who stole this thing of ours is in this very crowd.”
Dream tensed beside Tommy as the crowd broke out into murmurs. Eyes were darting towards the different heroes in the crowd, the benefactors no doubt assuming that the culprit had to be a hero.
“Like we said, we haven’t crashed your party to cause trouble. But we want this thing returned to us, and we won’t hesitate to take extreme measures to get what we want.”
or, Tommy was a lot of things: a newly debuted hero sidekick, an amnesiac, and a former kidnapping victim of the Syndicate.
Tommy didn't actually remember that last one though. That was just what Dream told him.
Only weeks after his hero debut, the Syndicate announces they are searching for something, and Tommy knows it has to be him. The scariest part? If they find him, Tommy will have no clue what to expect, because the Syndicate might know him, but he has no memories of them.
So he can't let them find him. No matter what.
Of course they end up finding him anyway.

“What are you talking about?!” Tommy exclaimed, hiding his fear with anger. “I don’t believe your bullshit for one second!” He finally managed to pull out of the inmate’s grasp and scrambled back, glaring at him. “You’ve had so many chances to hurt me, and you have! You didn’t miss me, you freak! If you wanted to get me alone you had plenty of time for that in exile!”
Dream tilted his head to the side, staring into Tommy’s eyes, unblinking. The boy resisted the urge to shudder. “Tommy, I would have if I could. But that stupid ghost gave you that compass, that enchanted compass. I couldn’t use any of my abilities anywhere near it,” He explained, standing up and walking over to Tommy.
The blond backed up against the obsidian wall, his eyes darting around in fear. “What do you want with me?!” He screamed, tears streaming down his cheeks.
Dream smiled widely and crouched down, grabbing Tommy by the wrists. “To go home,”

"Hi Mister Blade! I'm Tommy! You're my third favourite person in the whole wide world! After Daddy and the Angel of Death, of course." Techno was shocked as the tiny person ran up to him and grabbed the bottom of his shirt, jumping up and down like he was about to explode.
"This is your dad?" Techno pointed at Dream as he spoke to the child. Tommy nodded vigorously
"Yes, duh. Keep up, Mister Blade. Oh! Can I have your sword?"
"No, you absolutely cannot. Tommy, no swords. You know that." Nightmare's voice was different to what Techno was used to. The only connection his mind could make was that he sounded like Phil did when he and Wilbur were younger.
Tommy opened his mouth to say something but before any noise could be heard, his eyes rolled back into his head and he fell to the ground. Nightmare lurched forward and caught him, lifting him up and sitting on the bed, holding Tommy in his lap.
Or; Dream is a villain who just wants to cure his cursed son.

Then the man pressed his palm against Tommy's.
Air left his lungs in a rush. Tommy stared at their joined hands in wonder, stumped fingers ending with a black curved claw each and hard pads caving in when they came in contact with one another. His hands were so much smaller in comparison with the man's, but the similarities were too many to ignore.
"You're like me," were Tommy's first words in eternity, raspy and hoarse and marveled all the same.
"What's your name?" the man asked in a low, rumbling voice. His tone, leveled yet so so tender, felt like gently prying the words out of Tommy's chest.
"Wilbur used to call me Tommy," he said, his lips barely moving.
"Tommy," the man repeated. "I'm Technoblade. Techno."

“What happened to your hair?” Tommy gasped. He grinned with delight. “Wilbur, it’s pink!”

He pinches himself. It hurts. This is not a nightmare. Not in the literal sense at least- it’s definitely a metaphorical nightmare. Tommy’s worst nightmare, specifically.

The pink actually looked decent. Tubbo’s hair wasn’t a hundred percent dry yet, but even so he didn’t hate the look of the pastel pink hair on him. It was a nice color and it took to his hair pretty well. When everything was well and dry, it’d probably look even better. Tubbo hummed and moved his head around in front of the mirror, taking in all the angles he could. Yup, good all around. Some spots were darker than others and even then it was neat. Not too bad for his first try.
