Summary
Geralt knows he's different, even among witchers. Most of those differences are obvious enough upon looking at him: white hair, ridiculously pale skin, fangs, claws. But his desire for men, his discomfort whenever he beds women—those mutations, he can keep to himself. He can keep the world from seeing just how much of a freak he really is.
Except he can't, because the world includes Yennefer.
Or: With a little help from Yennefer and Jaskier, Geralt discovers he's gay after a lifetime of not even knowing the word. Probably the most self-indulgent thing I've ever written.

“So, bard. Witcher bard. This is the poison barb in your flesh: you can stay with him in silence and give up the one thing that makes you useful to him, or you can confess and give up something you will never have anyway.”
Jaskier upsets the wrong one-night stand and loses his voice. The only way to get it back is to tell Geralt how he feels.

Summary
There was something ugly churning in Geralt's gut watching all those nobles flock around Jaskier. Fawning, complimenting, flirting.
Jaskier should be thriving and preening from all the attention. Instead there was something uncomfortable and pinched in his expression, skillfully masked behind playful smiles and bright laughs.
Geralt didn't want to contemplate why he, and only he, noticed the bard's wish to run.

Geralt’s head snapped up as he heard Jaskier. The entire tavern quieted down as patrons stared at Jaskier. It was good though, Jaskier had always enjoyed an audience. Jaskier moved to lean against the bar beside Geralt. It was a perfect spot. The witcher would have to go through him to getaway.
“I don’t want to talk about it,” Geralt growled.
“No,” Jaskier replied, still projecting his voice. “You don’t get to blow my goddamn mind, then give me a concussion because I tried to return the favor and then never talk about it again. So I’ll ask again, what the fuck was that?”

A sequel to "An Incomplete Happiness." Geralt was injured on a hunt and is still recovering, and Jaskier seems to have assigned himself his willing caretaker and nurse, which leaves Geralt confused and baffled. While they share a room and Geralt recovers, there's an emotional tension building between them, and it seems inevitable that it will find resolution sooner rather than later.

Summary
Geralt runs into Jaskier a year or so after they parted due to perhaps, Geralt overreacting during a stressful time. He hadn't expected Jaskier to actually leave. Ciri is wintering with Yennefer and it has perhaps been a bit lean for Geralt. And it seems Jaskier has thrived. Good for him. Geralt is sure this brief encounter is all that will occur and he'll move on, alone like usual.
But to his surprise Jaskier joins him once more. Only whenever they are in a village, Jaskier always buys them the best room, hot baths, Geralt has new armor, and once was given coin to go buy those 'pretty stabby things you were drooling over in the window.' He had snarled, but then bought them. They were really nice daggers.
Geralt really wishes he could figure out what was going on. And why all the care feels rather not bad. Not bad at all.

Summary
Different species have different ways of recognizing their soulmates, but very few know this.
Jaskier realized that Geralt was his soulmate the second they met, but when Geralt didn’t react—and even tried to scare him off—he knew he had to ease Geralt into the situation. Witchers supposedly didn’t feel emotions, but Jaskier was confident that he could teach his soulmate what love was.
Geralt found his soulmate by punching him in the stomach. No one had ever had a witcher for a soulmate, so Jaskier understandably never said anything. That was fine. Geralt didn’t want to have a soulmate anyway.

Summary
When Witchers were created, so to were The Companions. A person who journeys with a Witcher to keep them sane, to heal them, to offer comfort, to reassure villages that the Witcher is not a monster, will not go on a rampage, or slake their needs at the local bawdy house. A Witcher cannot travel without a Companion, and Companions are granted agelessness to follow their Witchers.
After Blaviken, Geralt is without a Companion, them having fled after the massacre. And perhaps it was the second...fifth one to flee Geralt. It wasn't his fault they were morons.
Jaskier has been fired by one...three Witchers for being too mouthy, frustrating, a list of things that he thinks is quite unfair.
Vesemir makes it clear they are each other's last chance. Work well together, or Jaskier will begin to age again, and Geralt will never leave the walls of Kaer Morhen.
Jaskier and Geralt are deeply unimpressed with each other but agree to play along. They didn't expect to fall madly in love. Soulmates are just fairy tales, after all. Not for the likes of them.

Geralt barely managed to slam the pommel of his sword up in a glancing blow that shattered the metal latch holding the Soldier’s mask in place. The Soldier rolled into the movement with a dancer’s grace and came to his full height just as easily. For a moment, his hands reached up to run over the exposed skin, before he slowly turned to face Geralt once more.
The Witcher froze in a mixture of horror and near-frantic hope.
He stared into the eyes of a dead man and whispered, “Jaskier?”
The Soldi--the bard frowned at him in confusion and spoke with a voice rough with disuse,
“Who the hell is Jaskier?”

Summary
Despite what his outward code of conduct would have you thinking, Jaskier knows when he is not wanted.
He allows himself the exact amount of three days of wallowing in that small town before he packs his meager possessions and hits the road like nothing happened. In those three days he sings and dances for his food and drink, fucks the pretty barmaid and sleeps off the hangover before heading out in the morning of the fourth day. He travels alone for the first time in a while but it’s alright.
Now, if only people would stop telling him that the Witcher asks about him - that'd be swell.

The prick in front of the desk is not Connor, on a second look. It's a few inches taller, no tie, only that white jacket over a black shirt with the collar high and tight around its neck. It looks a lot like Connor, but the eyes that rest on him are cold grey, matching the spinning, calm blue of its LED. The lines of its face somehow different with the lack of Connor's big eyes and earnest sincerity. Harder. He glares back, but nothing changes. It's completely still, not reacting, only studying him with eyes that might as well be fucking chips of ice for all the feeling they've got.
It looks like it's got a massive fucking steel rod jammed up its ass, is what it looks like.
