In the aftermath of the war to end all wars, Harry had dutifully tried to follow the path set out for him. He'd tried to hack it as a wizard cop. He'd tried heterosexuality. He'd tried to exist in the public eye as a hero, saviour, beloved golden boy. He'd tried. Ultimately, he'd only lasted a few months before he'd disappeared into thin air.
It's been fifteen years, now—it's been precisely fifteen years, six months, and twenty days. A lot has changed. Draco is a photographer, working with Pansy Parkinson at her fashion magazine. He has a potion business on the side. He's grown, he has a carefully cultivated life, and he's sure to have a very normal reaction to seeing Harry Potter again.
This work is an emotional, plotty slow burn with a lot of smut, featuring fashion, dragons, snark, charcuterie, mythology, karaoke, and romance. Chapters generally alternate POV.

Harry sodding Potter is staring at him like he’s a Hippogriff on the loose, because of course he is. This is the life he lives now. Chaos at every turn. Nemeses with fantastic arses lurking behind every counter.
He finally wrangles Scorpius into his lap, glancing away so he doesn’t have to look at Harry Potter’s stupidly handsome face or his sluttily open collar or the chest hair peeking out at the very top. Draco knows his cheeks are beet red. “Potter. Yes, it appears we need some assistance. I can help clean it up. And then we’ll go.”
“Er, it’s alright.” Potter looks around the empty cafe and casts a Mending spell with a small, deft flick of his fingers.
Draco can’t help but watch that. He’s only a man, and a weak one at that. Potter’s hands look strong, and his shirtsleeves are rolled up to his elbows. And gods help Draco, he’s staring now. Scorpius is crying, but quieter, his little hands bunched up in Draco’s shirt, and Draco automatically gathers him closer, holding him tight. He can feel Scorpius wiping his snotty nose on his jumper.

Harry wasn't overly fond of mazes. Not since fourth year, in particular, but also not since everything in his life seemed to be misdirection.
Lately, he'd been feeling like there'd been one too many turns, one too many dead ends, one too many miss-steps; at some point, it felt like he ought to have been due a break.
Still, he found himself with his friends and his godchildren at a literal corn maze; a race to get to the center. And Harry couldn't really have cared less about winning.
He turned down another way, heard a child a few rows over shriek with delight as they ran past, corn rustling, and wished in the very depth of his bones that he could feel simple joy like that, wondered if he ever would. Realizing it was another dead end, he sighed and started to turn back.
"I was hoping I'd find you," spoken softly, just behind him.
"Circe, Draco," he breathed, "you startled me."
Draco was standing there, wearing an over-sized maroon jumper that covered his fingers, blonde hair slipping out of its braid leaving strands framing his face. And Harry ached with how he loved him, ached with the ways he didn't (couldn't).

Draco can think of only one way to outclass his pleat-front-khaki-wearing politician ex, and that’s by making headlines with an obvious upgrade. And who better to upstage the cheating bastard than the Saviour of the World, Harry Potter himself? Sure, Potter is a little rough around the edges in ripped jeans, a rumpled tartan shirt, and a permanent scowl. Draco reckons a haircut and a shave wouldn’t hurt, either. But Potter is also in need of a Healer willing to keep his secrets, and Draco is just the man for the job. It’s a perfectly reasonable exchange. They need only attend a couple parties arm-in-arm, smile nicely for the paparazzi, and tolerate each other long enough to convince everyone they’re smitten. In return, Draco will keep Potter alive and in one piece.
But it isn’t long before Draco realises he might be in over his head, because Potter is ten tonnes of trouble packed into a leather jacket, and seems keen on hurtling himself towards death on the back of a flying motorbike. And that says nothing of Potter’s penchant for fire-breathing beasts and things that bite.
Ah well, at least they’ll have some fun while it lasts. After all, Draco always did like a bit of danger.
