Summary
You won’t be able to stop me, Dean thinks into the silence. Just take me, please, take me instead—
EYE FOR AN EYE, says the Empty.
Dean is on his knees in his bedroom, elbows on his mattress like he thought he might pray.
The voice fills Dean’s mind as slowly as cold oil, and drips down the back of his neck.
TOOTH FOR A TOOTH.
*
Dean makes a deal.

Summary
Cas. Cas was gone. Forever. Dean was lying on his bed staring at the ceiling hungover out of his mind, head throbbing, nauseous to say the least. He laid there wondering how long he could last before running to the washroom to throw up whatever filth he drank to drown his sorrows last night.
And that was about it. He got up, stumbling to the bunker washroom until he could throw himself over the toilet heaving, Bile bubbling up his throat much like guilt does every so often.
Dean knows who he is and who he is becoming. He’s seen it before but never like this. It’s never been like this. Snapping at Sammy, not having the energy to eat, drinking himself silly every night until he can pass out without trying to fall asleepCas comes back, feelings are had eventually (mostly Dean's pov)

Cas is gone. Dead. Dean doesn't want to think about that. He doesn't want to think about anything really. He wants to let go. But Dean is one of those people that doesn't know how to do that, especially when it comes to family. His Family. His Cas. Because damn it, damn the fucking world and Chuck and all of it, the angel was HIS. And when he, oh when Dean really wants something, he's going to burn his life down before letting it go. Or letting someone take that "something" away from him.

--He wore very strange but noticeable cologne;
--His relationship to the seat he occupied could only, very loosely, be described as “sitting;”
--He looked angry;
--He was wearing sunglasses. What Aubrey Thyme, a professional, thought, upon first seeing her new client was: you’re going to be a fun one, aren’t you?

Summary
Dean's love language is told not in words, but in songs. In the notes of his favorite rock band and the rhythm of their melodies. His longest unfinished work is composed of Led Zeppelin songs, chosen for the feelings they evoke. It's Dean's life, reflected into one mix and shared carefully in hopes that he would be heard and understood.

Summary
The game is simple.
Get in an elevator, and follow the rules. If you follow them correctly, the elevator will rise and when the doors open, they will open onto a world that is not your own. When his brother goes missing after investigating the death of a teenage girl in a hotel in St. Louis, Dean Winchester is dismayed to discover it involved an internet legend called “the Elevator Game”.
He’s even more dismayed when Castiel—who walked away weeks ago and hasn’t been returning Dean’s calls—shows up, also looking for Sam.
Dean doesn’t want to work with Castiel, and Castiel doesn’t seem thrilled about working with him, either. Can they put their differences aside when they discover that Sam disappeared after playing the Elevator Game? Will Dean and Castiel play the game and travel to the Other World themselves? Will they find Sam before it's too late?
The choice, dear reader, is yours. You are in control of the story.
But choose wisely, for once you play the Elevator Game, things may never be the same again.

At Sam's suggestion, Dean and a newly-human Castiel go undercover at a couples' retreat in Vermont to investigate several unexplained disappearances. Between listening to Cas affirm their relationship goals to a group of strangers and putting his hands all over Dean during couples' yoga, not to mention all the damn hippie food he's had to choke down, Dean's not sure he's ever felt more out of his element. Oh, and did he mention there was only one bed?

CROWLEY: I try not to make a habit of gratitude, but I must give our appreciation to everyone out there who’s been listening and subscribing to The Ineffable Plan.
AZIRAPHALE: Ooh, yes, we’ve become quite popular, haven’t we?
CROWLEY: Yeah, just hit number eight on the advice charts … No advertising at all.
AZIRAPHALE: Mm. How … miraculous.
CROWLEY: … Aziraphale. You did not.***
Crowley and Aziraphale are very possibly the people least qualified, on the entire planet, to start up an advice podcast.
But what else is there to do when the world isn’t ending anytime soon, you’re technically on indefinite sabbatical from your lifelong careers, and you need a plausible excuse to spend more time with your best friend who you’re definitely not, absolutely not, maybe just a little, actually maybe overwhelmingly in love with?

Summary
For six thousand years, Aziraphale did his best to exist within the strictures of Heavenly conduct. It wasn’t a perfect practice; his relationship with Crowley, just for example, was never exactly what one might call “officially sanctioned,” or even, “particularly wise,” but the important thing was that Aziraphale tried. He wasn’t a very good angel, but he did his best, more or less. Wasn’t that all anyone could really ask of him?
It doesn’t really feel fair, is the point, that in reward for saving the world, Aziraphale seems to be having something of an existential crisis.

Summary
Finally, Aziraphale spoke. “You mean to say— you got us married?”
“Just as a precaution, I never really thought I’d end up discorporated again, it’d been ages, you just don’t get stampedes or assassinations like you used to —”
“You got us married, and you didn’t tell me?”
***
Crowley gets inconveniently discorporated. And it’s not like it’s ever been easy to get a new body, but this time around, things really aren’t looking good. His new innuendo-obsessed lust-demon of a coworker honestly isn’t helping things.
Meanwhile, Aziraphale has a dead body to contend with, and an occult mortician & his very normal daughter to fend off. What lengths will he go to in order to get Crowley back to Earth?
