Summary
On a fateful night nine years ago, a current stole Cyan from the waters of his true home. With only vague memories of his past, and lacking basic knowledge of who he is or even what species of pokemon he belongs to, the young serpent doesn’t have much to work with in his quest to find out where he came from. He’s a stranger in a place he was never meant to exist in, and he doesn’t seem to be able to shake the dreadful feeling of never quite belonging.
But soon Cyan isn’t the only odd pokemon at Splendent Reef.
With the recent arrival of a rescue team from the surface, Cyan has never seen the reef churn with so much anxiety. And that’s just the beginning.
A reckless old friend who’s inspired to establish a team, a rude not-yet dragon-type ‘mon who insists they’re fine living on their own, and a religious movement that seems intent on ridding the seas of outside land-dweller influence all disturb what was previously the calm ocean of normalcy in Cyan’s life.
Will the ripples grow to become a current leading the way home, or will they just drag Cyan deeper under the waves?

Ho-oh has done it again. He arrived at Mt. Tensei early only to find someone dead before their time, so he did what he usually does and revived them. This probably wouldn’t have been so bad if a) he hadn’t missed his first two shots and revived the human’s Pokémon instead, and b) that human hadn’t been Ash Ketchum, involuntary Chosen One, whose sudden transformation has thrown the timeline into disarray. Faced with paradoxes stacking up, both literally and physically, Dialga and Palkia did what they do best and tried to rewind what happened so everything can proceed as normal.
This… didn’t work out as they planned.
Now they and Arceus are left supervising a highly unstable timeline in which they accidentally retconned those three lives to always have been in their revived forms. But it takes a lot more than being retroactively born in a Pokémon body to stop Ash Ketchum from being Ash Ketchum…

Charlie Mallory was not the average student at Tower University. He had beaten the Elite Four- only to lose to the new champion, his friend. Over and over. Now, those days are (mostly) behind him.
One day, however, Charlie stumbles upon a group of criminals attacking a rare Alolan Ninetales. Although she gets away, Charlie doesn't. His beaten and bruised body is left on the slopes of Mt. Xiphos, for the snowstorm to take his life and the pokemon to eat his body. There, he dies.
And then wakes up again, as a Hisuian Zoroark.
Now, he must track down those who did this to him, deal with his team's reactions (especially his meowscarada's), and worst of all, go to class.
