Summary
Just as Steve is starting to fiddle with the fly on Eddie’s jeans, a police siren gives one short whine from somewhere close behind them, and Eddie’s eyes fly open to see red and blue lights bouncing off the surrounding trees.
“Hey, morons!” someone yells from outside the car, and Eddie immediately recognizes the voice as Chief Hopper’s, “Outta the car – now.”
He’s not all that worried, believe it or not. Eddie’s got a pretty good amount of faith in Steve’s ability to spin up some story to keep them out of any real trouble, and as they sheepishly climb out of the car, Eddie prepares himself for a whole show of, “Yes Chief, sorry Chief, it won’t happen again Chief.”
So imagine Eddie's complete and utter surprise when Hopper barks, “What the hell do you think you’re doing?” and Steve only rolls his eyes and says, “What’s it to you?”

(Based on 1spooky2me’s Fixer Upper AU)
Bill Cipher has made enough progress in ten thousand years of non-time in the Theraprism to destroy his protective shell of denial and lies that kept the past guilt from ever touching him. Unfortunately, that is about the point where his progress stopped: where he admitted to his mistakes, but not yet willing to try atoning for them. Why bother? It wasn't as if he could ever fix anything that actually mattered. And even if he did, he would be reincarnated into a very primitive creature with no memory of his previous life and wouldn't even be himself anymore.
Except outside and foreseen circumstances yanked him out of the Theraprism's dimension and dumped him back into a different and very familiar one. While also shoving him into a newly-created alive-ish human-shaped body.
The Axolotl decides to take advantage of the new opportunity this presents to see if "community service" and being productive would produce better results. He does want Bill to heal, recover, and have a chance at a new life.
And thus Bill ends up stuck working in the Mystery Shack for Soos. Right as summer begins and the Pines are due to return.
No one is happy about this.

“I don’t fucking know, okay?” Blitzø screams back but while she’d raised her voice in anger, he sounds just desperate. Almost scared. “I have no fucking clue why he would do something this stupid for me! I don’t deserve this and I don’t know why he would… I can’t…”
He covers his face with a hand that trembles and Via bites her lip. She feels drained all of a sudden.
“Because he loves you, you asshole.” There is no heat in her voice. No anger. She is all out of anger again. It was nice while it lasted.
Blitzø stills and takes a shuddering breath. He whispers, low enough that she almost doesn’t hear the words and doesn’t know if she was supposed to hear them in the first place: “It terrifies me sometimes… The way your father loves with everything he has.”

“Oh, darling,” Lucifer huffs, successfully pulling Alastor’s attention to him as he steps into his personal space. He stands on his tip toes until the barrel of the Winchester rests against the center of his forehead. “You don’t know the half of it,” he whispers with confidence, grinning a bit too wide with the slightly too sharp teeth and his eyes might have an unnatural red glow. Risky, putting it in one word.
And yet, he watches as the man’s pupils dilate slightly.

The name is on the tip of Varian's tongue. The syllables press against the back of his teeth, itching to be let out but never taking shape. It's like dust falling softly on a Sunday morning; it's a thousand tons of iron slamming behind his ribs; it's a virus buried in his blood and sinew. He can't explain why he feels so empty without it, like a piece of his soul is missing. He can't help but think he's lost something -- or someone -- very, very important.
Or, Varian wakes up in the body of a boy he's never met in a kingdom he's never visited. He learns to adapt to Hugo's strange lifestyle, clumsily navigating a sense of normalcy with no memory of what happened the day before.
Until the day he can't.

He checked his messages again – still nothing from Blitz. Hopefully that meant that his boyfriend had either gone to sleep or had found another way to distract himself from the admittedly terrible storm. Stolas knew Blitz was a perfectly capable adult, of course, but today had been so trying. He had every expectation of being met with Blitz mid-panic-attack when they returned home. It was for the best, really – keeping things bottled up like he knew Blitz was doing, that was how things got worse.
"Look! Fire trucks!" Octavia's observation snapped Stolas's attention back to the present. As his daughter began to hum the Fireman Sam theme, he watched as two large fire engines raced past the restaurant, alarms blaring, with an ambulance following close behind.
'Don't turn left,' Stolas found himself begging mentally. Left was rural farmland, with only two occupied houses for miles. Left was home. Left was Blitz.
And left was the direction the vehicles turned.
