Summary
Olive Appleby is a quick-witted barmaid at the Green Dragon. Her usual night takes a turn when she meets Mimosa Weatherhill. Olive is struck by Mimosa’s beauty and shy demeanor, and their brief encounter leaves both yearning for more.
Because of the traditional values and prejudice in the Shire, Olive and Mimosa have to keep their blossoming love a secret from everyone; it's not something anyone in the Shire would necessarily want to see - a relationship between two women, that is.
While struggling with being wooed by male suitors and sneaking around, the two grow a deep connection; one they never imagined they could have.
All the chapters might not be in order: I write the part of the story I want to explore.

Margaret had not expected to see Mr. Thornton so soon, and certainly not so closely. Margaret wavers backwards, towards her front door, and Mr. Thornton descends the steps until his shoes are touching the cobble below. She had rather expected to have more time to work through her own thoughts on the Incident at the mill, before seeing him again. And yet, he is here, acting the proper gentleman, asking after her welfare. Margaret expects it will be easy enough to brush past him, after giving a satisfactory answer as to her health.
Mr. Thornton, unsurprisingly, is more persistent than that.

Summary
Though he was the Valar to preside over the dead, Namo found joy in watching life. There was one race in particular that he found he could interact with without having them cower in subservience or fear. The hobbits were full of life. During their years of wandering, Namo found himself taking them under his care. He helped them find the Shire and build a life there. Not every hobbit could hear his deep voice when he whispered to them. Even fewer could see his shadowed form when he walked amongst them. Only a brush with death brought certain hobbits closer to him. When the Fell Winter struck, he called many of his children home to him.
There was one, however, that Namo pronounced his Doom with a heavy heart. One who would have to suffer living in a cruel world for many years before he could find peace. One who Namo cradled in his hands during that terrible winter and then released back into the world of the living a changed hobbit. One who could not only hear and see Namo but had become so intertwined with his power that he could deliver Dooms to others if their fate was strong enough.
