Summary
In true Eddie fashion, the topic has to steep for a while before he brings it up. He’s not ashamed of it, and he doesn’t think Buck or Tommy will be weirded out, he just needs a minute to sit with it.
Still, it’s a surprise when the words tumble out of his mouth during a quiet evening in, where Buck and Tommy are curled up together on the couch and Eddie’s returning with three mugs of milk tea for them to split. Tommy’s the one who got them hooked on it, and Buck’s the one who found the chai blend they can all agree on.
Eddie sets Buck and Tommy’s mugs on the coffee table. Tommy is halfway through a pulp sci-fi novel, and Buck is scrolling mindlessly on his phone.
Maybe that’s why they’re so caught off-guard when Eddie says, “Frank thinks we should do sex therapy.”

Summary
Buck doesn’t get it. The way everyone else just… rolls over for him. He’s never seen Chim, Hen, Eddie, and Ravi so servile. He watches them with awe. He knows they feel the same way he does, he knows (with acute new understanding) the sheer rage Gerrard incites. But they all put up with it.
It’s the cause of his first fight with Tommy, actually. Things with him were suspiciously smooth, especially given their awkward first date. But everything in Buck’s life must go sideways, and this is no exception.
As always, it starts with Buck saying something he doesn’t even know is wrong.
OR
Gerrard is awful, Buck is stressed out and upset, and Tommy knows just how to make him feel better.

If anyone asks, Evan started it. Sure, Tommy might have pushed it towards undeniably something they have to explore right now immediately, but Evan was the one who looked at him like that, who raised his eyebrows and took a sip of his wine with a little cheeky grin and a suggestive, “But you think I do?”
The only thing that Tommy can manage to say is the blatant, vulnerable truth. “God, I hope so.”
Evan pauses at the painful earnestness of Tommy’s voice, but doesn’t start anything else. Tommy tries not to feel too disappointed—joking about it, actively fantasizing, and participating in a kink are three entirely different beasts, and Tommy would know. So, he quietly mourns the mental image of Evan on his knees, eyes big and eager, saying, “Please, daddy?” and he has a lovely dinner with his handsome boyfriend. Spending time with Evan is easy, after all; so in the end, it’s really no hardship.

Summary
Carlos might have been a gentleman who held certain beliefs of how one should act and treat their partner, but that didn’t mean that there was any less passion between them because of it. He easily tossed TK around like he weighed nothing at all and even playfully pinned him to the bed on occasion. But as soon as he realized the position they were in, he’d let go. And TK loved every single second of it, there was no doubt about it. If that was the only kind of sex they had for the rest of their lives, TK would die a happy man. He didn’t need anything else.
But for once, TK wished he wouldn’t let go. And despite his best efforts, other fantasies just kept on creeping in.
Or, the one in which TK has a fantasy he'd like to try and Carlos is more than happy to indulge him

Sparks and splashes fly when TK and Carlos each take up swimming while they recover from workplace injuries.

Carlos touches the shallow end of the pool and stops, allowing himself the time to look back. Appearing slightly fuzzy and gleaming through Carlos’ goggles, TK sits on the edge at the deep end, palms splayed flat on the tiles, legs dangling in the water and kicking softly. He raises a hand, waving to beckon Carlos back. There’s something so sweet about the gesture, Carlos’ stomach flutters. He has to stop himself from smiling as he swims towards TK. He peers through his goggles at the sharpening sight of TK’s feet under the water, the way he moves them in a circular motion. Carlos keeps his head under and grabs TK’s foot playfully. TK howls, elated.
“I knew you were going to do that, and it still scared me,” TK says, his voice squeaky through his rolling laughter.
Suddenly it feels to Carlos like he’s known TK forever – like they’re best friends from school days, kids at play.
TK kicks up, splashing water over Carlos’ shoulder. There’s a hunger in his eyes that Carlos tries to mirror. They hold it for a few seconds before they have to look away.Bookmarked by JenM

“It’s a bruise. I’ve had a lot worse. I was handcuffed to your desk once when I had worse, remember?” TK curls his hands around the back of Carlos’s neck, trying again to lighten the mood.
“That was different. You started a fight, that’s not the same as somebody attacking you when you’re trying to save them.” Carlos just keeps staring at his cheek, with his arms hanging at his sides. He isn’t reaching for TK, he isn’t holding him or kissing him and TK’s heart races for a different reason. He’d known Carlos would be upset. He didn’t think Carlos would be this upset.
He goes up on his tiptoes and wraps his arms around Carlos’s neck, trying to pull him into a hug that Carlos doesn’t reciprocate. TK swallows over the lump that builds in his throat as his brain searches quickly through his Carlos rolodex for anything he might be able to say to make this better.Bookmarked by JenM

This story begins on TK's first day in detox, and is told through letters that he writes to Carlos on his journey to get back home.
