The last time Will saw this drawing it was crumpled and ripped in half, thrown on the ground at Castle Byers before he took a baseball bat to the place. It should be covered in dirt, swept away by the wind or damaged by the rain, but it’s here in Mike’s sock drawer. It’s been carefully taped together, but the rip is still visible. Some of the colors bled through, blotched by rain or tears. When he lifts the drawing to inspect it further, Will finds that beneath it is a photo which has also been taped together. It’s from Halloween 1984.
“Hey Will, I was think–” Mike’s voice cuts off when he reaches the open doorway. His gaze is on Will’s hands before he looks up and their eyes lock.

As he says that Mike decides to take away his hand and see if Will can do anything about that. He took the hand off and showed him the disaster he has just done.
“What did you do to your hair, oh my god!” Will said laughing as he reached his hand to slowly touch them. At the touch Mike kind of blushes but doesn’t really let Will notice.
“Please don’t say a thing and just help me please.” said Mike a little embarrassed trying to not blush more and not letting Will notice, even if, due to the color of his light skin, it’s a little impossible to not notice.
