The room goes tensely quiet at the familiar voice that fills the room, three of the glass panes on the wall morphing into a screen.
Maggie Stark is steadying the screen, obviously a camera that is recording, and trying to figure out if it’s actually recording. She looks young, but her eyes hold hardships well beyond her years.
Shock is palpable in the room, but heavily outweighed by sorrow and sadness.
“Is this fucking thing recording?” Maggie sighs, her eyes flicking up to the camera. “Fri, is it recording?”
“How are you the daughter of the smartest man in the world?” Friday asks, a teasing tone in her Irish accent. “Yes, Baby Boss, It’s Recording.”
