When Rook couldn't find solas in the face prison he closed his eyes and reached out to Solas, dipping into the surface of his feelings. The moment they connected, Rook was overwhelmed by panic, shame, and another emotion he couldn't quite discern.
"Get out." a single thought that clearly came for Solas riped though Rook's thoughts
A minute later he was pinned to a wall with solas behind him.

In the end, she alone stood screaming over Elgar’nan’s corpse as Lucanis and Bellara succumbed to the wounds that the blighted false god gave them.

Rook let out a soft laugh into the crook of Lucanis’ neck, making the man shiver, then pulled back just enough to make eye contact.
“Do I scare you, Lucanis?” He asked, low and heated and honey-filled.
The Crow’s eyes grew round, flicking between Rook’s own, then down to his lips, back up again. His own lips parted and Rook could feel his breath coming out in short huffs, could smell coffee and fruit and mint. He brought his face nearer, their mouths so close Rook doubted the spine of a knife could pass through.
Lucanis swallowed, looked up at him with those warm midnight eyes. “You have no idea.”
