He looks up, and he’s ruined, waterline rimmed red and lip trembling. In one clumsy movement, he collapses in a desperate hug around George.
Dream and George are having a rough time, but they have each other, and they'll be alright.

George pushes his face in the crook of Dream’s neck. “Where’d you go?” he mumbles, and Dream can feel his lips move and warm breath grace his skin.
“Was outside,” Dream says. He holds George tighter and rubs his palm up and down his back. “Phone call with Ken.”
George hums. “Is everything okay?”
And Dream just doesn’t have an answer for that. No, he thinks, and I don’t know if it’s ever going to be. “I don’t wanna talk about it,” he mutters, burying his face in George’s hair.
