Nux was supposed to die when the War Rig crashed. In fact, by all accounts he did. However, given the fact he just woke up in a strange house in Gastown, he suspects he did not, in fact, die. Meanwhile, Capable finds herself helping to steer the Wasteland's most powerful fortress towards a better system, mourning the loss of her friends and dealing with an incapacitated Furiosa. Slit would very much like everyone to fuck off so he can suffer in peace.
Somehow, these three sets of circumstances will start a revolution.

Summary
When a(nother) Superman double starts wreaking havoc while playing heroes, very few are able to differentiate him from the original. Those in power are fooled: Belle Reve offers Anti-Superman expert Lex Luthor a conditional freedom in exchange for his help. Despite LuthorCorp's desperate need for some PR miracle, he's frustratingly picky with interviews—until he requests a specific reporter: The Daily Planet's Clark Kent.
Lex Luthor is doing it for the PR, he says; only came to him because of his badge of Superman's Favorite Reporter, he says. Nothing to do with their past.
Clark Kent tells Lois he's only agreeing so he can keep an eye on Luthor; totally not because, due to some weird i-spent-too-much-time-going-through-dimensional-rifts effect, Lex Luthor now looks too much like his childhood best friend for Clark to stay away.
Of course, they're probably lying.

“You know, I’m a little hurt you didn’t call me specifically for help,” Superboy says as they clear the third floor landing. He sounds a little wry. “I mean, I heard the ping and all, but still.”
“I don’t know you,” Tim reminds him snarkily, and Superboy manages a groan that sounds like a verbal iteration of rolling ones’ eyes. “We’ve met like, twice. Forgive me if you’re not the first call I make when I want backup.”
“We’ve met three times, actually” Superboy counters cheerfully. That wretched housecat is curled up against his chest, purring away like it hadn’t just spent ten minutes trying to claw Tim’s eyes out of his skull. He glares at it.
or, the first time that Tim ever meets Lex Luthor face-to-face is in the aftermath of a house fire.

Summary
It’s been too long since the last War. Twenty days, or so. They’re doldrumed in the Citadel, mired and without the rage and fighting they were made for.
A little ficlet about communication. How do you communicate when you're in a car death cult that only expects one emotion from you, and that emotion is war? Slit and Nux certainly don't know, but they're doing their best. Please enjoy them stumbling through it for two thousand or so words.
