Basically this is a collection of creative writing pieces, some old ones from my high school years and new ones that may pop up in the future, that have either been inspired by Final Fantasy VII, or are scenarios based in the Final Fantasy VII world.

    Summary

And that was when Kaveh snapped. He launched himself to his feet, seething with an emotion he was definitely not ready to name.

“You think you’re so clever, don’t you?” he hissed. “Just because you speak twelve dialects and own an espresso machine and have cheekbones sharp enough to cut through my boundaries, you think you’ve won. You think you can just smile—dimples and all—and I’ll fall apart like an emotionally unstable origami project?”

    Alhaitham didn’t answer.

He smirked. Softly and lazily, like a man lounging on the ruins of Kaveh’s dignity.

    Both dimples.

    Both.

Kaveh gasped like a Victorian heroine seeing ankle.

“No,” he whispered. “Put them away.”

    “I’m not doing anything.”

    “That’s what makes it worse!”

Or, Alhaitham has dimples and Kaveh is, against all reason and dignity, doomed.

    Summary

“Why are you looking at me like that?” Kaveh mumbles, without opening his eyes. He’s been reading, too—or pretending to, which is more likely, because the upside-down architectural plans on the table have not moved in half an hour, and his pencil is behind his ear instead of in his hand.

“I’m not,” Alhaitham says, too fast. Which is absurd. Of course he is. The entire point of his visual cortex is to perceive the world around him, and unfortunately, the world currently includes Kaveh. Shirtless. Glowing. Freckled.

“You’re making that face again,” Kaveh says, one eye cracking open, voice annoyingly smug for someone still half-asleep. “The one where you’re trying to suppress an emotion and failing.”

“I don’t suppress emotions,” Alhaitham replies. “I manage them. Responsibly.”

Kaveh snorts. “Oh, is that what the internal aneurysm looks like? Good to know.”

In which Kaveh weaponizes freckles and Alhaitham forgets the scientific method.

    Summary

Alhaitham, without breaking eye contact with the offensive document, hums.

“They want us to teach a seminar together.”

    There’s a long pause.

Kaveh peeks out from under his arm.

    “Together?”

    “Yes.”

    A beat.

    “Us?”

    “Yes.”

    Another.

    “In the same room?”

Alhaitham lowers the paper. “Apparently the Akademiya has developed a theory—tragically untested until now—that our ‘differing pedagogical approaches’ might foster ‘cross-disciplinary innovation and engagement.’”

Or, how two intellectual disasters taught a seminar, destroyed a syllabus, kissed, and accidentally created a fandom.

A glorious read for the new year, the idea of letting these two run a class is beautiful and I loved Alhaitham being a menace for the public to view.

    Summary

Five times Kaveh and Alhaitham almost kissed because of architecture, academia, or Alhaitham's naked torso (involving orange slices as aesthetic insult, hallway negotiations of physical boundaries, furniture-based foreplay, domestic symbolisms disguised as dinner, and academic proximity crimes). And one time, finally, they stopped almost-ing—and kissed.

Beautiful 5+1 - complete with furniture war crimes, disastrous dinner parties and Cyno with impeccable timing.

    Summary

“You,” Alhaitham says, so low it barely registers on the frequency spectrum, “talk a lot about structure. But none of it keeps you upright.”

    Kaveh swallows.

    Hard.

    “Excuse me?”

“You build theories. Draft heartbreak. Design metaphors until you drown in them. But you don’t hold anything up.”

    “That’s because—because you won’t let me.”

Alhaitham’s eyes narrow. “What is it you’re trying to hold up, Kaveh?”

    Kaveh opens his mouth.

    Closes it.

    Swears. Opens it again.

    “I—”

Or, two idiots weaponize interior design as a form of unresolved tension.

Architecture talk should not be this emotionally impactful.
    Much tears, much love.
