"It’s impossible for him to tell the passage of time, but at some point, he can hear again. Muffled and hardly coherent, but it's something other than static, making him latch onto the sense as he tries to force his eyes open.
Immediately, his eyes fall on the man from before, but this time, several feet below him.
Odd… but Derek can still hardly think about it at the moment, feeling nothing but cotton in his head. His eyes almost roll back again, but he fights like hell to keep them down so he doesn't close them, static taking over his vision and leaving him blind, only able to comprehend the presence of light and darkness.
Through the static, he sees a bright light, unable to tell if it’s green or yellow.
Why would there be a light like that in such a dark place?"

Now, if you asked Avery what happens during her everyday life, she would reply with her usual routine of waking up, taking a shower, taking care of the flock of sheep outside her house, then going outside to do god-knows-what or exhaust herself with skywars battles, before collapsing into her bed back home. Needless to say, her life was more on the mundane side, with little difference or specialties.
Avery would have replied with this—if she was not in some random cave with an unconscious woman right in front of her?!

Pourquoi n'arrive-t-iel pas à être plus que cela ? Pourquoi ses propres choix devaient-ils le ramener à ce qu'iel avait été, même après avoir briser leur lien ?
Sur les terres de la vieille croyance, le chant des agneaux résonnait toujours malgré le génocide, la rupture, les larmes...
Pourtant, certaines larmes n'auraient jamais dû appartenir à l'Agneau. Sa tentative de prendre sa destiné en mains --ou de simplement tromper l'ennui-- tourna au fiasco. Le voilà embarqué dans une nouvelle croisade où les armes sont moins les poignards des hérétiques que ses propres regrets.
