When Ratchet detects a cache of medical-grade energon on one of Cybertron's moons, it sounds like a simple supply run. No problem!
But Knock Out is forced to reveal that he might have accidentally left a certain vampiric spider-bot and her hive of undead Insecticons there. Obviously, the thing to do is turn the ship around.
Arcee has a better idea. Airachnid down there? Fine. She brought plenty of ammo.

Needed not from any sort of desire for a perceived stoicism but rather a matter of avoiding complete social suicide.
What could be so detrimental as to require so much focus?
Knockout didn’t like to make a habit of answering that question.

A normal day is severely sidetracked when a gold and silver sphere appears in Omega Outpost One. No one remembers taking it in, no one knows where it came from and no one certainly knows what it's capable.
Apparently it's capable of peering into alternate universes, differing worlds that show them what-ifs, maybe-could-haves and never-will-be. This will be a learning experience, not only for the Autobots, but for the Decepticons as an identical artifact appears on the Nemesis and the Cons are unknowingly watching alongside them.

Ratchet spluttered, the sharpness in his chest returning. His vents were blocked. His throat felt coated in something sticky. And his spark pounded painfully in his chassis.Bracing one servo against the medical slab, Ratchet clutched at his throat and heaved. A weird noise crrrcked from his voice box, staticky and wet.
And there in his servo, lay a single crystalline petal (sticky with an unhealthy amount of half-digested energon).

It was as though a switch had suddenly been flipped somewhere in Starscream, Optimus reflected.
One moment, he was confident and bold, assured in his secret trick. Then suddenly, he all but collapsed against the rocky wall, dark energon long forgotten as it fell to the ground.
OR
'Stop me' Starscream goes back a second time. Everyone is very concerned when he suddenly has the worst panic attack anyone there had before, for, seemingly, no reason.
