It didn’t help that Starscream seemed to determined to help him move on… in his own strange way.
Alone as he was, at least someone cared enough to still talk to him.
If only Starscream wasn’t acting so weird.

Summary
“You barely touched your High Grade; is it not to your taste?”
Optimus forced himself not to tense and grasps the armchairs of his seat. He wasn’t so sure he managed to school his expression, but he did try. “No thank you,” he said in a clipped voice. “I do not indulge, especially not when I’m on a mission.”
On the other side of the table, Megatron peered at him curiously, amusement radiating from his EM field. “A mission? Is this all our little get-together is for you, Autobot?”
“Is it supposed to be anything else?” Optimus replied with a frown.
Or, the Elite Guard has unexpected methods to make a prisoner Megatron talk with them, and Optimus is the poor 'bot ropped into making them work. On the plus side, the food and drinks are excellent and Megatron is suprising good company (not that he would admit it aloud). On the other, Optimus can't help but wonder the why of it all...
