“Tommy! Tommy, can you hear me?” She scooped up the body and Whisper finally got a decent look at him.
He was young, too young to be passed out alone in a rainy alley. His blonde hair was darkened by water and streaks that must have been blood if his batter face was anything to go by. His skin was pale and his body trembled slightly, even in unconsciousness.
Whisper moved side by side with his partner, pulling out first aid supplies and searching for major injuries. “You know this kid?” he asked.

“Wh-What about him?” The cashier asked, glancing at Tommy. “Did you- did you kidnap him?”
“I mean… yeah, let’s go with that in case this ends up on the news,” Siren shrugged, looking back at Tommy. “I kidnapped you, right?”
“Yeah, sure,” Tommy agreed, knowing that if they said he was kidnapped, it would keep people from getting suspicious of why he was seen in public with Siren. “Anyway, can I get the chicken nuggets happy meal, with a coke?”
or, how Tommy—who is not a hero, or a villain, or even a vigilante—saves the life of one of L'Manberg's most feared supervillains, and accidentally ends up becoming the resident doctor for every supervillain in town (and maybe gets a family along the way too).

Summary
Tommy is deeply, achingly aware of his friends’ kindnesses. Phil had been the one to offer a spare room, with the only catch being a cost of rent far cheaper than what it should have been. But Phil had only shrugged with a slight grin.
Phil is great like that. So is Techno. So is Wilbur.
Tommy…isn’t. He just isn’t. He has nothing to him, he’s substanceless—and he feels it, in the way that the frigid winds in the August nights threaten to blow him away, like he’s made of nothing but sand.
Tommy imagines that death will be like that. He imagines that he’ll close his eyes, and his body will finally break apart and decay right then and there. He imagines that that will be the only way his memory persists—like stubborn sand hidden in the creases of the carpet.

Tommy decides that life is just too much. His friends decide that Tommy is wrong.

Summary
The royal family of Antarctic empire isn’t exactly close.
Emperor Philza is always occupied; Tommy hasn’t seen Techno in months, and even if Wilbur is here, their relationship can be described to be strained at best.
The royal family doesn’t need to be close, however, it only needs to be balanced, like the pillars holding the country above their heads – as long as they are strong and steady, the Empire will be too. It’s the principle that held Tommy’s back straight and his shoulders broad through the years of hardships and trials of errors; through yet another formal meeting where his father’s gaze would look past him and where his brother’s words would be filled with poison that makes the deepest parts of his soul ache.
At that time, Tommy couldn't know that his family would find a replacement for him in the face of a commoner boy named Ranboo.

Summary
When Tommy was ten, he was taken in by Wilbur, Techno and Phil, who lived in the Underground of London. Even if all three of them were chased by the government or criminal organizations, they still decided to raise Tommy and try to give him a better life than on the streets. As Tommy grew up with them, they made it their mission to also help other children out of hopeless situations and shelter them in their hide out, until they were ready to live with a family again.
All of that went well, until one year ago, when something happened, which changed Tommy completely. Now he is seventeen, but he still tries to hold on to the past, too afraid to forget it.
One day though, Phil knocks on his door, intending to help him with a little present.

Tommy is born into the Watsons house to his mother Kristin who didn’t make it through child birth. The family blamed Tommy for her death and Tommy eventually gives in blaming himself too. Tommy griefs for a mother he never knew, a mother he believes he killed. In the end though she knew she would die on that hospital bed but she couldn’t bare the thought of giving up on this child so she took death into open arms and welcomed Tommy into what she thought was a loving family and kind home. To her dismay she was horribly wrong for this was not the family she once knew. Tragedy can take peoples thoughts to horrible places sometimes.

Summary
Wilbur imagined that his return home would meet him with Tommy, growing and loud and lovable as always, and Phil, aging rather poorly, both welcoming him with open arms. He would push Tommy on the tire swing out front and everything would be back to the way it was before he and Techno left for college.
Techno imagined his return home would be bitter, spiteful glares being sent towards Phil every chance he got when Tommy wasn't looking. The rest of the time would be spent making sure Tommy still had some form of his childhood intact.
Tommy imagined his older brothers as strangers, because that's all they really were to him. He imagined Phil as the monster under his bed and the shadow in the corner of his room he was too scared to approach.

Phil wasn't supposed to be home this soon, and there was smoke coming out of the chimney meaning Phil had set up a fire in the living rooms fire place. He only ever did that when-

Summary
After Belos has been defeated, the Collector has left to find their siblings and the rebuilding of the Boiling Isles has begun, Hunter develops some concerning behaviours. Luz and his friends are worried about him. He won't stop working, is growing steadily more distant and refuses to talk about his new scars or how he got them. They figure that he just needs some time and space to work through his emotions now that he has the opportunity. Grief affects everyone differently, after all, and Hunter is not only grieving for Flapjack, he is grieving for a life he never got to experience because of Belos. His friends are eager to help him whenever he is ready to let them. Yet when one of his scars becomes infected as a result of his unhealthy coping mechanisms and Hunter falls ill, they might not get that chance.
