Showed a hot edit someone had created about Ilya while he was playing hockey, and Shane..... Shane started to create his own edits. About his husband.
As one does.
And then, everything just spiraled.
As it always does.
He was now a TikTok editor, and the head mod of a very horny Discord server about his husband. And no one knows it's him.

The effect is instantaneous. Ilya’s hands fly to his sides, and Shane gets a front row seat as Ilya’s heart breaks before his very eyes. Eyes dimming and lips trembling in slow, painful technicolor.

This story starts the morning the FanMail video was leaked, and follows Harris through the rest of The Long Game timeline. We get some cute domestic Harris and Troy moments.
Chapter One references "The Story" by Brandi Carlile, so I'd highly recommend listening to it if you haven't.
Shane POV vignette "So Does God" fits in between chapters one and two.
