“Okay, kid, you’ve been acting funny all night. Are you sick? What’s the deal?” asks Tony.
He covers Peter’s forehead with his hand, attempting to check his temperature, but instead causes Peter to whimper and flinch and try to back away. Tony’s firm grip pins him to the spot, keeping him upright and close enough for him to flick Peter’s hair from his forehead with a screwdriver.
Tony gives a low whistle. “That’s one hell of a bruise, Pete.”
“‘Urts,” says Peter, now that his secret is revealed, and there’s no point in hiding it anymore.
“Yeah, I’m not surprised,” says Tony. He shepherds him over to the couch. “You need to be sitting down.”
OR
Peter attempts to hide his head injury from Tony and fails almost immediately.

"Oh, sure, watching some rich white kid actively try to murder two men in weirdly creative ways always gets me in the mood for the festive season," MJ replies while following him with a crate of assorted vegetables.
"Those guys were asking for it!"
"Doesn’t make it any less disturbing that an eight year old knows that many ways to fatally injure someone."
Peter, frozen on the spot, feels his face immediately lift into an automatic grin even as his heart plummets into his stomach.

Peter averts his gaze from Tony’s, the sound of the gunshot reverberating in his head again. ‘’Look, when you can do the things that I can, but you don’t, and then the bad things happen…they happen because of you.’’
May would disagree. Crippling debt, bad investments, loans owed to violent people that knew where Ben lived, where they lived - it didn’t matter the reasons behind Ben’s choices, so many choices that came to light after that day. What mattered was that he made them, and he alone was responsible for them. That’s what May says.
But she doesn’t know what Peter can do. She doesn’t know that he could have stopped anything bad from happening that day; could have reacted differently and made it so Ben didn’t kill someone.

The past is always lurking and in the aftermath of the final battle, it's about to catch up with Peter.

The sound of May’s fond scolding has Peter immediately ducking down behind the nearest display shelves, motioning for Bucky to join him. The man rolls his eyes but obligingly crouches down, leaning his back against the shelves.
"Flash, get down!"
"What the hell are you doing?" Flash whispers loudly, kneeling awkwardly by Peter’s side.
"Hiding from May. I don’t want her to catch me with this," Peter whispers back as he taps the juicer box. "We gotta get outta here."

Finally, Tony turns and takes his attention off his breakfast making. “Chugging five energy drinks before bedtime isn’t insomnia, it’s stupidity, meaning it’s your own damn fault you’re banned from caffeine.”
